Oh no, I hope you manage not to get dragged in to the war!
ive been speedy this month too, but did get some bargains. I got some amazon own brand tops (iris and lily) which are plain, but very nice fitting and worked out at about £5 each (sold in pairs). I’ve thrown out some holey T-shirt’s to make room.
I’m watching Suits....never fancied it, but am really enjoying it!

I loved Suits Suzanne, the last series isn’t great though. Well I suppose we do need to buy some things I’ve told myself that’s it now, behaving hat is back on. The war rages on Dad is now out of hospital and at home, worried mum won’t look after him as she’s too peed off about whatever was said on Friday night.  Who knew being an adult child cud be so tough. Anyway this week I focus on me and getting my good mood back.

£7 cash back moved into savings, still on track to hit 8k by the end of the year but would secretly love £10k. Looking forward to a low key weekend after the drama of last weekend. Box sets and a box of wine ha ha

Such a lengthy process all this saving, patience is not my virtue. What’s keeping me going is I’m on target and can save so will do it. Just need to be more patient lol

That sounds like a great weekend plan. I’m not patient either...and really bad at saving. I’m trying to track percentages to keep me going.

I know once I get this year over and hit the 8k I’ll be more disciplined. It’s the time not the actual £ I find hard. I’m surprised I’ve even gotten this far. Absolutely dying to go to TX Max and look at house stuff but I know I’ll spend a fortune if I go. Decided to take myself off to the cinema this afternoon. £4 for the ticket. Seeing unhinged, will get a Starbucks as well and there’s a £land and a B &M beside so il have a browse in those 2. Plan is to spend no more than £40 in total. The problem with coming out of lockdown is once you’ve been out, you keep wanting to go out. Was thinking last night about things to do today and cinema seemed to be the cheapest when I took things like petrol etc into consideration

Cinema was good, only one family of four and a man on his own in the screening. Sneaked in a Starbucks Mango Iced green tea. Got some bits and bobs in Poundland and b nd m. Gravy, sauces, tuna, cleaning things stuff like that. Also went to the Next outlet and got a jumper for winter for £8 and Dad some fancy socks for Christmas.  Also went into The works and got niece and nephew birthday cards 59p each and a book for me The prison Dr £3 and a book to put away for mum for Christmas. Also £3. Not a bad day at all and satisfied my need to do something. Need to go and get some fruit tomorrow but that should be it.

Rain is absolutely hammering down here. Plan for the week is to eat from cupboards/freezer until at least Friday. Also finish the tattooist of Auschwitz book.  Started it last week in the hairdressers and il forget what it’s about if I leave it much longer. By putting these things in here holds me accountable. Have a meeting tomorrow I’m twitchy about trying not to think about it. Busy week ahead in work as usual.
Have taken credit card out of purse and hidden in house so I can’t be tempted when I’m out. It’s staying there until next year. I’ve 2.5 weeks until payday and very little to live off now. Well I mean petrol is accounted for and £70 left for groceries/ weekend wine etc So il need to be creative on how I amuse myself and be disciplined.  That credit cards not coming out. It’s getting too easy to start thinking now I’ve cleared part of it off sure il wack things on that again. No. Niece is 5 this weekend, really seeing the benefit of having a gifts and Xmas pot now as I bought her pressie weeks ago out of it and didn’t miss it.
