Diet going well again this week, I always find Mondays and Tuesdays easy and then it becomes more of a struggle as the week goes on lol. Lots of motivation and inspiration out there with everyone thinking ahead to post lockdown days. Working hard on getting to target for month end. Struggled to sleep last night with the wind. Make up is on today again, hoping to get back into the habit. It makes me feel better. Long time ahead without a hair cut though !
Need to think what I’m doing at the weekend as after last weekends spending I need to have a plan in place to keep myself from unnecessary spends

Lots of talk about holidays, let’s hope we all get to get one this year. There’s my working week nearly over this week already.  There’s I’d def a bit more hope in the air. Touch and go on whether we meet income in work tomorrow, won’t be too far off if we don’t. I think a lot of people have enjoyed the savings they’ve made in lockdown and won’t actually be in that much of a hurry to return to everyday money spending the way they were before. Other than the odd Saturday lunch out I don’t think it’s made that much of a difference to me financially, I’ve been at work the whole time so haven’t benefited from petrol savings etc. I def do need new clothes though for work and pot funding for that is in place.  Hope the weather stays bright for the weekend, it might motivate me to do some cleaning and take some stuff to the dump.

Having a healthy Friday, lovely day so for a walk by the sea. Will get a takeaway coffee and a subway salad for lunch. Having an alcohol free Friday and treating myself with a bubble bath instead. Going to spend the afternoon with my niece and nephew tomorrow.  Will have som with tomorrow night. Close to getting a stone off so need to stay focused.

Woke up early this morning, decided to walk up to the bakery for a bacon bap and a coffee. Standing in it thinking oh it’s quiet in here this morning no radio on etc and no one else there, then my ex walks in from about 4 years ago whom I haven’t seen since. Very uncomfortable and I split my coffee all over my arm trying to get out the door.
Conclusion of the day, always have a lie in if you can, nothing good comes from getting up early lol.
Hearing some news about 5 per cent deposits, I’m still going for my original targets as I want to put down as much as I can at the offset.  For some people though I’m sure it will be welcome news.

So it’s happening, my site is closing. Going through the process of redundancies now for the next few months. Not exactly fun times. Must try and retain focus on the diet and saving !

Thank you Maggie, hardly slept a wink last night with thinking about how meetings would go today.
Looks like it will take a couple of months for the closure to be complete and I’ll have to flit back and forth from  the existing and site we are moving back too getting everything set up and running.   I got excellent feedback  today and il still have a job with opportunities for progression but that’s bittersweet when I’m losing most of my team.
I do feel better not being in limbo anymore, now I know exactly what is happening I can focus on progressing.
I did have a little drive round my chosen neighbourhood on the way home to cheer myself up.

Brilliant to read of excellent feedback and great you will still have a job too. So hard to lose most of the team though.

Hope the drive around did cheer you up.

Very hard, we were having such a laugh today about funny times, there will be multiple tears shed over the next few months.
Didn’t sleep again last night so hoping to get some proper sleep over the weekend.
Hope it’s dry over the weekend so I can get out for a good walk and get my head cleared.
Eating has been appalling last 2 days so line is drawn now and back on track.

Mood is a bit low today, not surprising after the week I’ve had. Didn’t do much today, weather wasn’t very nice so went for a drive and did a very small food shop. Queue in Lidl was ridiculous this afternoon. Like everyone tired going to the same places and doing the same things.  Two spendy things coming up, new glasses and a car service in that order. Could also do with some new jeans but going to wait and see if I can hold off and hopefully be buying some a size down.
