Back to work tomorrow, not really looking forward to it. Tensions are high all over about multiple things, people leaving this week and a bit of a restructure being planned. Working my way through Bloodlines on Netflix, been enjoying that. I am looking forward to getting back on track with healthy eating tomorrow, feeling a bit bloated from being ultra relaxed on the food and drink front this week.  A No spend day today, every little helps when it’s a five week month!

Feeling really focused on the money saving front at the minute, hopefully tomorrow will bring a focus back to healthy eating. Other than petrol which I need to get in the morning going to try and not spend any money until Thursday / Friday.   I’m on the countdown to Easter so I can get a good break from work again lol

Some good news for me, I got a promotion. Up to the next level of management and a move to a new scale. Will definitely help when applying for a mortgage.  Hopefully get this deposit saved a bit quicker now

Thank you both, yes some good news and great to have job security in these times. Believe me I’ve worked for it, thankfully those further up the chain recognise my worth.  Still have to go through the upset of redundancies within my team, moving the department and then leaving the department so it’s a bit bittersweet but positive overall for myself and I can’t ignore that.  I almost feel a bit guilty having good news during these times.
Been out for a walk this morning, sun is shining.
Going to a meal plan for next week today, might dig through some recipes.

Flip me finished work yesterday until weds, came home had 2 gins and fell asleep. Got up this morning at 9, watched tv til 11.30, fell asleep again and woke up at 4pm.  My dad always says you don’t realise how tired you are until you stop! I think he’s right. Plan for my time off is to give my nieces and nephew their eggs, relax and watch a lot of things on catch up. Sunday lunch with my parents and that’s as far as I’ve got. Have a couple of chapters in my book to finish as well. Can’t see me spending much money which is a good thing, as getting into the run up to payday again.

Finishing off book 4/12 before I go to my parents for lunch. Really looking forward to sitting down to something I’ve not cooked myself or comes in a takeaway box.  Lazy Sunday planned, want to finish Bloodlines Series 2 today and will have some wine from wine stocks. Another NSD. Only in work 2 days a week next week which will help with petrol consumption. Want to break through the 10k ASAP.  Really enjoying being off work, you know your getting old when ur tucked up in bed at 10.30 on a Saturday night content as a pig in xxxx lol.

Gone for Three Perfect Liars by Heidi Parks for 5/12. It’s snowing here this morning so perfect for doing a bit Of reading. Planning another NSD here today, don’t need to get anything and have a bolognese left out of the freezer for dinner.
