Not much to report, Ni is going back into a full lockdown next fri, that coupled with the news of public sector pay freezes haven’t really put me in a good mood. Finished my Xmas shopping today and picked up 2 new jumpers for work. Work is busy and I’m thankful to be in work but nothing feels right.  Doubt my holiday to Lanzarote will go ahead in Feb so that will prob be a refund coming which isn’t a bad thing. Halifax regular saver matures next month, first time in my 41 year old life I’ve completed a regular saver schedule. Ashamed but also proud I’ve finally caught myself on. Just got to crack on now and get to Xmas. I’m trying to ignore anything Black Friday related lol

Signed up to second nature last night so that’s 40 quid for the next 3 months but want something to be accountable to. Official start is Monday, looking at the meal plan I’ll def lose weight, it’s very low carb, looking 4ward to getting started on it,

Having a nice relaxing weekend, all Xmas presents are bought so hoping spends are minimal now until next payday, whenever they decide to tell us when that will be. I’ve worked my last Friday of the year, on a reduced week now til Jan using up Annual leave.

I’ve been spendy but I’m not going to beat myself up about it.  I bought 2 things I wanted in the Black Friday sales, one of them I’ve wanted for 2 years.  Starting second nature tomorrow and looking forward to feeling less bloated! There will be no more bread or pizzas in this house this year !

Enjoying a better mood in work these days everyone seems ready for the Xmas break. Lovely bright crisp day here today, although apparently snow is on its way.  Work def feels different this December, the wind down has started earlier.  Still on my diet and still on plan, making a beef stew tonight. Spending not so good looking forward to getting Decembers pay in and being able to reset with nothing Xmas related to come out of it.  Two secret Santa gifts left to buy. Mind you I think this is the first Xmas that I’ve not had to use Decembers pay to buy some gifts etc.

Dentist tomorrow, so that will be an unexpected expense, but I can’t complain as I haven’t needed anything done for a long time. Not much happening in or out of work, trying to cling on to my diet but it’s hard at this time of year with constant temptations. At least I’m not giving myself free reign.  Think we get paid next Friday and as I think I’ve said before will be glad to get it and have nothing Christmas related coming out of it.

Dentist wasn’t to bad, £30 but I did hit Tesco quite hard afterwards.  On a plus I’ve already set up my Xmas 2021 saving pot and funded with a fiver lol. Lovely crisp day today, been over to the see the parents now relaxing indoors. Christmas films on and will have a glass of wine later. Absolutely cannot spend anymore £ this weekend

Roll on payday on Friday, this is the first month in a long time where I am shuffling about £s to spend. Putting on some food for the guys in work tomorrow so probably spend about £30/40 in Asda in the morning.  Note to self, save more for next November it’s an expensive month.
