At the end of the day its your property so I cant see why you cant do what you want with it. Fair enough if you've got pirate copies of games thats illegal, but if you're using genuine out of region games I cant see how its illegal.

Thats like saying its illegal to own a car because you might speed in it....

There are some games that will do the updates you mention but there are ways to prevent this happening now.

Of course, if you take your Wii to pieces and solder something onto the mainboard its gonna invalidate your warranty !!!!

was just trying to be helpful and offer someone a bundle i have no need for very close to rrp (what i paid), not trying to rip people off, just trying to be helpful.

Sorry if i offended you, but though someone might be interested rather than paying similar prices on ebay etc just for the console and who haven't got time to sit a a computer allday.

I was only going to make about 10 quid.
