Amazon.DE / .FR won't allow you to ship to UK, haven't done so for about a month I'm afraid.

I decided I wanted a Wii on Friday (I had wanted 1 for a while, but knew about these availability issues). I went to http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/ while I sat at my desk at work, and within 1 hour, Argos had stock. I ordered, but it takes 5 hours to get confirmation. While I waited, 2 other companies received stock (Wilkinson and John Lewis). I am not counting the stupidly priced consoles at micro direct and similar companies.

I got the Argos 1 in the end, delivered yesterday, but my advice would be to just use the site above, and be ready to pay straight away. Registering in advance for sites like Wilkinson is a good idea too...

Don't pay any more than £247 including delivery. You can get a Wii from a regular retailer for that price.

Save yourself and order from Amazon.fr (france) or Amazon.de (Germany) then buy a plug adapter off ebay for £2 It costs exactly the same as our amazon. france have 12 and germany have 29 this is where ebayers are getting them from. Just follow ordering steps for amazon uk and for anything u r not sure about use a translator tool. I have friends that have ordered them from here and it's fine, just got different plug n manual (but u can download it any way). hurry though although quick with postage order asap to get in time for xmas.

P.s wii sports still in english
