I will also try tomorrow when I pick up and hopefully will be able to show them the advert. Can only say No, and then ask if the manager would sell for half price. ;)
  • I'm off to New York on Saturday, and wondered if american wii's would work in the UK if I can get hold of one?

Unfortunately they do not work in the Uk we have a different system, they use NTSC and we use PAL so only american games work on the american systems.

The only way this would work is if you buy a US wii then get the power convertor and then import the games from american but could be costly!

    Hope this helps!

    Simple answer is NO

plus you could get import duties on top

As far as I'm aware I am still picking up this afternoon, CS are calling me back at lunchtime.
