;7060115]Dont matter UK or Euro - they;re all identical apart from the plug which isnt really an issue.
DOnt they all come with Wii Sports as well ???
Do the consoles conform to the british safety standards with a 2 pin plug?0 -

Frenchs Wiis are PAL. Apparently, in France they use SECAM and/or PAL....0 -
Very good advice, as a seller, unless you can prove you posted out to a confirmed address you are not covered by Paypal's Sell Protection Policy. I would say there's a lot of legitimate seller's who won't offer collection for this very reason.
Whoa... Didnt know that. Surely if you ship something through a courier you've got signature proof if it never turned up ???0 -

The only way this would work is if you buy a US wii then get the power convertor and then import the games from american but could be costly!
Hope this helps!
Or you could get it chipped? Perfectly legal if all you want to do is play import games on it....
Costs about £40-£50 apparently...0 -

I just bought a plug adaptor thing that clips on top of the two-pin plug. I assume if mist be OK since the adaptor was bought from maplin in the uk.0 -

Cheers
Nunchucks are just under £15 in ASDA - which is about £5 less than normal.
For games I bid on a couple on Ebay at the weekend that I couldn't find in the shops or in stock on line and I still got them at a lower price than most websites were selling (if they had them) them at.0 -

Actually I don't think it is legal anymore. In principle there should be nothing wrong with modifying a console just so you can play games from other global regions. However Mr Nintendo would argue that the point of these chips is primarily to circumvent anti-piracy measures they've taken.
Another thing to bear in mind if you're considering chipping your Wii: Nintendo is acutely aware of what the chips are, how they work and frequently embeds games with ROM-flash files that will, if played on a chipped console effectively knacker the Wii and reduce it to nothing more than a nice looking paperweight!
Alas the warranty is also rendered null and void...0
