It's not the cheapest price I have seen - but they had them in stock and it can be picked up in person (which I liked). It is a computer shop on the South side of Glasgow (Shawlands) and have been around for over 10 years.
I believe you can order them online too. www.creativecomputing.net
I heard woolworths had 12000 delivered yesterday I couldn't get onto their site (kept getting an error message) and they all sold in a few hours.
You can get bundles for less than that! I got Wii + Sports + 4 games from Play.com on Monday for £290! Keep looking people - don't give in to the retailers selling £170 consoles for £299!0 -
Just spoken to Tesco Direct and they said no, different deals to that in store. I'm going to ask when I get there anyway, take it to the electrical desk and argue the point.
Never thought about the free game. Brill idea. Thanks. Still don't know if I am getting mine yet. I will ring the store about 5 and ask if it has arrived. See they had them on again this morning. Karen0 -

If the address is unconfirmed Paypal will not entertain you..they put out a warning to this effect on their payment received email. It's their get out. They will just say you have no proof the right person received it.
If you've got a special delivery/courier signature you can't claim from the company either.
You can be left in a situation where you post to an unconfirmed address, the buyer receives & signs for it, claims through paypal they haven't received it, & they will get their money back....& the wii.
Nice eh.
Oh...& where's markybhoy...I've got a bone to pick with him.
OK. So say someone pays you by paypal, how do you know if their address is confirmed or unconfirmed?
Are you saying that they can say to paypal they never recieved it and even though you can prove it was deliveted, then paypal will make you refund the money (if thier address is unconfirmed) ?
Tell you what, I'd be tempted to make a personal visit to the address in question if that ever happened to me.....0 -
I have been told that there is a little known small games section of Debenhams in Manchester town centre that have plenty of Wii's available.
Apologies if this has been posted before, or if I have been misinformed.

Yes..hang on..I'll be right back..just off to trawl through my inbox.
& yes...I'd call the police.0 -
You can get a Gamestation package with 4 games for £299 right now - the same price as the 1 console you saw in Glasgow!0

I totally agree with sparky1664 on this one
Paypal gives you no protection sending to an unconfirmed address
You would end up going through the courts to try and prove they received the item.0
