Do you want to name the driver and transfer the hassle to them?  No, then sit tight, expect debt collector letters (ignorable), letter of/before claim and eventually court claim form (N1), then you can defend in court.

This is just a game and there is little you can do right now.  If this actually ends up in court, BWLegal will be playing a different game with a judge on a more serious note, fake add-ons for a start.
They may realise the game is up and start offering discounts just to see if you are a mug.  Just wait, there's is the next card to deal which is often fatal for them.
Nothing will happen until well into the new year with all the covid problems
Parking issues are not the highest on the list for the courts and nor is BWLegal

Well obviously you reply and state that you know the POFA exists, but you want to know if their client IS RELYING UPON IT.

    I told you that already.

  • but you want info relating to you , not a car VRN , they wrote to YOU not a vrn ,
a car could have been sold many times , NCP could have ticketed that car several times , hell even with different owners

you want data relating to YOU , not another person

Why didn't you supply your car VRM though...flipping obvious to include it.

Have I done/said something to irritate you at some point?

    That’s 2/3 snipey retorts now.

Apologies that this is my first involvement in a circumstance like this and I don’t do particularly well with navigating my way through pages and pages of literature for the exact information I need.

I thought that was what creating a thread like this was for, not to be subliminally condescended to.

In answer to your question, no, I assumed that the REFERENCE number, provided by the relevant organisations to me, would be sufficient information to identify myself and the case in question.

I didn’t add the colour or the tyre size of my car either, just in case that should be “flipping obvious”.

    Cheers anyway.

So this is the response now..

It may be worth noting that I, as yet, have received nothing in relation to the SARS other than they “can’t find my details”....

You can either complain to NCP and/or the ICO that they have failed to supply your data despite you sending an SAR, or, you could supply your VRM.

You could point out that since they have confirmed they are pursuing the keeper, then they must know who it is, therefore they must know the VRM because that's what they used to find out who the keeper was.

Their problem is that they have a crap search facility.
Your problem is that you want the data.
