Hi all I have applied yesterday with hsbc personal acount for bounce back loan 
I have sent the tax return from 2018 /2019 

I have used my personal hsbc since 2017 for solo trader 
I have received an email after 1 hr with my id number 
Can some tell me what is the next step 
Do i have to ring them

Next step will be a acceptance or declined email, probably in about a month.
My experience is that it’s a waste of time ringing.
Fwiw, my situation is exactly the same as yours, I got accepted after a month, signed the email last Thursday and up to now had nothing since.

I reng them today and they said we got what we need but is waiting time 
I hope i get an email soon and see whet they say 
I will ring them after a week again just to see what they say

After God knows how many phone calls since then, lo and behold today, November 17th, I received the Echosign forms. I signed them half an hour ago but no PDF as yet. 

I guess after looking at the above comments I may still be waiting some time for the actual cash. 

Am planning on applying for a top up as soon as it lands so who knows how long after that I will need to wait again. 

Money came into bank this morning took approx 36 hours

Hey there!

Do you need to be a UK resident to be granted the bounce back loan?

I already have a business account for my UK company with HSBC but I never actively used it.
I signed the echo document a few days ago but was told today that there'll be additional checks because of my residential 
address being in Germany. Is this an issue?
I though signing the echo document means you got accepted but apparently the credit checks only start afterwards according to customer support.

I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light here. Thank you very much!
