Nothing but problems.
It's a lottery I feel.0 -
My husband signed Friday. Still nothing. Time line. Applied 14th of MAY. After at least 12 hours on the phone over that period he finally received echosign Friday 6th November. No funds yet although hsbc told me 48 hours. More lies.Bigguyonabike said:

Got a call saying they've tried but my sort code is wrong.
They have only once asked for my bank details in which I have a copy of in pdf.
They're totally correct, another lie!
So after resending them the same information they hold and having to re identifying on myself on the app.
I now am waiting again, the advisor helping told me up to a week and if it's any longer to contact her.
Absolute jokers Hsbc, so glad I do not bank with the incompetent cretins.0 -
After been asked to contact the fraud team.
Laughable.
They wanted to check why such a large amount was leaving business account.
They had no understanding when I explained its not a business account, its a feeder account holding my bbl to be transferred to my nominated bank account.
Absolutely not a scooby door what I was going on about.
Anyway I played along, gave them the required fraud check details and was in my bank 30 seconds later.
Other then hsbc collecting the loan payments in a years time I hope to never have to ever deal with them again.

Wow. That's crazy but at least you finally have it. A week after echosign and nothing! Called HSBC and they said can't give a time line?!Bigguyonabike said:After been asked to contact the fraud team.

To be fair to HSBC, I imagine they are snowed under given they were willing to allow non customers to apply for loans while almost all the other banks stopped accepting applications assist from existing customers.Bigguyonabike said:

Hence why you probably applied to HSBC than whoever you normally bank with0 -

Timeline:
20th June - Applied for a HSBC business account which is accepted on July 8th and I applied for a BBL that very same day. After God knows how many phone calls since then, lo and behold today, November 17th, I received the Echosign forms. I signed them half an hour ago but no PDF as yet.I guess after looking at the above comments I may still be waiting some time for the actual cash.Am planning on applying for a top up as soon as it lands so who knows how long after that I will need to wait again.0 -
