Smudger2020 - I applied last Monday & got a claim ref didn't hear anything until Thursday night when received email saying loan had been successful and had to sign agreement digitally which I have done today not sure how long before money will be received.  Hope this helps and you will hear something soon.

Following this thread too.  We applied for the BBL on Monday 4th May, got an application ID and not a peep from them since.  Originally applied for the CBIL and after 3 painful hours on the phone doing the application didn't hear back from that either after 3 weeks so cancelled that and went for the BBL.  It really is shocking there's no communication whatsoever.

Finally got the Echo sign document this morning however the bank account number they put to pay the funds too was cut off and had a load of zeros at the beginning.  Was anyone else's like this?  Don't know if it's security measure or a mistake?!

The account no. was already printed in red on first page of Echo sign document and I had to input it into the direct debit mandate at end of document.  Hope this helps willowthewisp.  Still no monies in my account though!!

Thanks beautician777  the bank account number on the first page is the one that was wrong.  we had to input the direct debit one too so hoping they use their brains and match them up!  When did you sign yours?

Fingers crossed!  From what I have read it takes 'a couple of days' after signing to hit the bank account

I heard it might be technical account number for the loan, but not 100% sure about that, so you might want to check with your bank.

Hi I applied initially with HSBC 9 days ago but my friend got such a quick response and funds from his bank that I thought I must have done it wrong as I'd had nothing, or any notification through. I filled it in again on Thursday and received the echo form to fill in on Saturday morning which I returned. It says the funds will automatically follow and no further action is required, but they're not in yet. Fingers crossed!
