Morning all. Didn't post again yesterday but got lots done around paid stuff including washing a dog bed, checking smoke alarms, cleaning hob, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning under sink cupboard and polishing all mirrored surfaces around the house.Another paid stuff day today plus council stuff but first paperwork as it's pay day.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Another sunny day here, up and going just (OH somehow managed to set his alarm for 4am, which is his alarm when travelling, so it went off, he even had the cheek to snooze it and so it went off again 5 minutes later before he realised it was only 4). I'd forgotten how horrid 4 o'clock in the morning is as he hasn't travelled since early March.
Up, showered, dressed
Bed made, clothes picked up
Shopping list done
New earphones ordered for OH,
Will go shopping once I get a confirmation for the earphones order as plan to pick them up at the same time. Hopefully I can do it this morning and shop tends to get busier at the end of the day and of course tomorrow is a bank holiday.
Need to speak to my boss as I've heard she would like me to make some masks.
And of course today is the day we find out a what we can and can't do next week, our area was red at the start but has now gone orange but no orange in final plan so find out today if we progress on to green or go back to red and what the implications of that will be.
Yesterday I did dust and hoover living area and kitchen so looking ok
Better put the kettle on and go and get a load of washing9 -
Morning all,
YL I am sorry it wasn't conclusive, please do try and take the positives from the appointment xx
It is bright and beautiful again here. The WM is swishing and I unloaded the DW last night. Plan for today is to get dressed, get the kids out on a walk then I have some paid stuff to do. DDs teacher is going to ring her today which she will love I'm sure. Not much else to report, oh I also need to nip to the post office to send off a couple of eBay items.Have lovely days all x9 -
Morning all,
I also didn’t get back to post again yesterday, but a most of the day was spent working, it wouldn’t have been an interesting post anyway. I did manage to strip my bed during my lunch break, put it on to wash and dry outside, and then remake it once I finished work. That was a bonus.
Today it is into school to work for (hopefully) just the morning. Then I will see where I am and what is what.
YL - it is positive that DS is feeling well in himself and that is a good sign. The 3 months waits are really hard, but somehow you will get through them and they will become your new norm for a while. I was told that I had to learn to plan something for the future, so that DD could see that I was looking forward, so then she would feel able to. I don’t know if that helps you or not, but I hope so. Huge hugs.Right - I had better pack my bag and look presentable - as possible as it is, anyway.
Have lovely days all.8 -
Good morning!
Late start, again. I couldn't get to sleep last night, so I slept in until 8.40am. I am up, dressed & breakfasted. I have checked the seedlings, poo picked in the garden & taken delivery of 8 bags of sand, which I have taken through the house to the back garden. I have also emptied & restacked the DW
Round 1
Put on WM
'Friday' money juggle (I know its Thursday - I haven't completely lost it! 😂)
Make a pack up for lunch at the allotment
Hang out washing
Then I will be heading out for as long as I can manage at the allotment, as I don't suppose I will get there tomorrow. I may need to pop to mr Al's later as well 😱8 -
I am LOVING my new set up. No sore behind yesterday.
So far I have brought the emptied green bin in, taken the recycling bin out, WUALTD and pegged out washing.
And faffed about online and done a bit of work.
YL - as others have said, sorry it's not conclusive and fingers crossed for you and DS.

Hello flyladies, I have finally cleaned the bottom shelf of the under sink cupboard **Happy Dance** will do the top shelf later today. I need better organisation in there as it's a huge space and i'm not using it to its potential.
Hugs, sticks and spoons for anyone that needs them, lots to spare as i've done my daily yoga so i'm fully energised
