Morning Round and everyone else. The dogs got me up early. Just had first cuppa. Think I'll sit and finish a batch of button bands while I wake up properly.
Have a great VE Day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -

Morning
Wide awake club here too, been awake since 4:30... I’m tired too but brain wouldn’t allow me to sleep. I’ve had a cuppa and caught up on some emails. Waiting now for DH to get up so I can strip the bed... not sure what else is on my agenda yet. I’m off until Tuesday, I do however need to do a bit of paid stuff that I didn’t manage to complete.
Take care all, back later x7 -
Morning BadCat xx
I have a four day weekend tooI've had breakfast al fresco! It's such a lovely morning that after pegging out the jeans (and putting out the recycling) I took out DS's 'Silverstone' (folding) chair and ate my toast / drank brew two whilst taking in the rays and listening to / watching the birds. Not done that before - mainly because the chair has always lived in DS's car boot! - but I'll be doing it again for sure. The bliss of simply being
Round 1 =

Morning all,
Another lovely day here. I didn't have any wine yesterday and feel better for it 😇
The DW has been unloaded, the WM is on and the kiddies have crumpets.I am very glad that the government have set people straight some of the silly things being reported in the papers, the thought of some of the things being suggested being allowed from Monday by some papers was unbelievable.Piggers - we have been given some food to help too and I am certainly not going to pass it up, the children are growing like weeds and eating so much.Right I MUST list on eBay today, and we will Potter outside. Take care all x10 -
Morning all,
I joined Badcat and Round in The Club again, but stayed in bed reading my book. Ive just had cuppa 1 and put the wm on. Cuppa 2 to follow. I’m also off until Tuesday, so I suppose that I had better plan. Finding it a bit difficult as DD, who has been so uncomplaining for weeks, is now really down, and that worries me.

Good morning 😁
I am awake, but phone faffing. I think I will get up and started on the day. I want to make some scones for a cream tea for our stay at home street party - I have never made them before! DH has talked about making a Victoria sponge. I think I may also try to sort out the last of the pots, and plant the bedding that I have. That will tidy up the garden!
Round 1
Get up & dressed
Breakfast
Check emails, etc
It's a beautiful day! No doubt there will be some covidiots heading to the seafront today, although I won't see them as I am staying here! DH & DS both reported much busier roads yesterday on the way home from work, and apparently most of the town centres were really busy 🤷♀️🤦♀️ Why do people take media speculation as fact?! I don't get it!
Have a good day everyone!9 -
Glad that those of you being offered help are accepting it. One day the tables will be turned and you'll be able to offer help where its needed.
Button bands ready for delivery. Second cuppa being consumed along with a pain au chocolate.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all - just sitting listening to the birdsong (oh, and the war-calls of two small boys) and waving at the farmer next door out feeding his sheep.
Glad to hear help is being offered and accepted by those in need - Im still hoping I will get a letter from the Government to say I qualify for the SE help, but other than that, we have had to survive on DH's wages for the past few months. As my nan would have said, it's a "character-building" experience for me. I'm providing free eggs to friends in the village to try and do my bit and am helping at a childcare centre for key worker children in a nearby town.
Not sure what the day holds yet....let's see how things go!8 -
Round 1 complete. I am just drinking tea on the sunny patio listening to Glenn Miller to get in the mood 😁
Next, I am going to gather the ingredients for scones, before anyone else takes over the kitchen!
Dizzy there is a link in the SE guidance where you can check eligibility. It gives you a date & time that you can then claim. I'm sure the link will be in Martin's guide too. I haven't had a letter or anything yet, but I can claim at 8am on 13/5 x
