Another bits and bobs day. Cleaned the inside of the kitchen bin as there was something vile between the bin liner and the actual bin...I'd forgot the joys of having the children home! Gorgeous sunny day here.
Hugs to all xx10 -

Evening, all.
Himself took himself off to work. Seemed quite happy when he came back, as he could see all the alterations they were making to improve staff safety as he assisted (being such a Manly Man - well, the only one they have aged under 65, at any rate) by being the manager's Muscles and moving things around in a suitably Manly Manner. No definite date to go back yet, but it's nice that they're actually making genuine efforts to change things.
I have cleaned part of the bathroom, watered the plants, refilled the bird feeder (as he came back via the pet shop), done the hob and I am definitely done for the day, as I still don't have any energy.
Tomorrow's plan is to get him to clean the windows.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll10 -
Started my next knitting project.. it is very rainbowy.. it brings happies!
I think OH and Squeak may have the flipping lurgy.. Squeak has been wilted like a warm lettuce since Saturday .. her temp is sky high and she has no cough at all she has tummy pains and nausea and has had massive nose bleeds.. drs tomorrow if she is no better. O is coughing up his innards.. and I am telling him off every 5 seconds for not covering his coughs or covering them with his hands and wiping his hands on his clothes.. the expletive list is long right here!
Kitchen washing done up to date.. I need to get my room cleared tomorrow.
Tesco bought, Lidl bought. We have around 35 boxes of cereal.. so will only need to get milk and bread and fresh stuff for the next couple of weeks.. especially after my delivery on Tuesday! I WILL have food this month. School are bringing us weekly food parcels too.. given the 4 males in my house are out of work for the foreseeable and at least another moth of the girls off school I am not saying no to anything. We are around £700 a month down, we can not afford to lose this much. enough moaning..

Pigpen hope Squeak and OH are both OK, you are right to accept as much help as you can, you have a lot of mouths to feed!
Made myself go out on the bike this morning, I am getting a bit anxious about going out of the village so it did me good, and I saw a deer! Did quite a bit of work but had to stop because DS1 was out in the garden and he wanted me to sit outside with him, think he just didnt want to be on his own. Will have to do a couple of hours tomorrow but thats OK.
Washing done, dried and put away, kitchen tidy, house quite presentable.10 -
Anybody remember Quillion?
She was in front of me at a junction earlier (had been shopping). She's a key worker so when I clap she's in my thoughts.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good evening
I spent most of the afternoon at the allotment. I filled 2 bin bags with weeds - still lots to to!
DH helped the neighbours put rainbow bunting up in our part of the street - it is looking very colourful 😊🌈
DH went into work early, which meant he finished at about 11:30am. He then went to see his mum for an hour or so (socially distancing, of course). He had suggested a spag bol for dinner, so I assumed he was starting that as he finished early. He has been in a sulk all evening, I think because I didnt start dinner (he got home at 2pm, I got in at 5:30!) I ignored his strop 😂 He often makes me feel guilty when he gets home a bit later on a Thursday, until I remember it's because he is sitting at his mum's drinking tea & eating biscuits!! (although he doesn't get tea & biscuits at the moment) - sorry - rant over! I feel better now 😂
I popped to the shop for milk, strawberries & cream (queued for quite a while), and have WULTD & stacked the DW before bed. The kitchen looks clean & tidy, so he can't moan about that in the morning!
Hugs to those that need them, including the lurkers! Night night all x8 -
Valli.. yes I do remember her well.. I was thinking of her a few weeks ago strangely and a few others long since moved on.. I'm glad she is well..

Morning xx
The curse of the Wide Awake Club strikes again (and again, and again). I couldn't lie there any longer so I got up - 5.45 am!!!! On a day off!!!! The really annoying thing is that I am TIRED - just can't sleep. Brain fog rules ok
Jeans are swishing in WM - going to be a lovely day for drying according to the forecast so I may as well make the most of my early start.
Just having a brew to set me up for the day. Defo going to be a two brew morning.
Stay safe
Rxx
