Morning all
Slept until 9am, which is so unlike me, I must have needed it! Still in PJs, just done a quick tidy up outside as its starting to rain and there were one or two things left out from yesterday.
Going to check finances, do my yoga class, bit of clean washing to put away. Not sure what else, except I need to do a proper meal plan for the week. A lazy Sunday I think.
Hope MIL is OK Pigpen.10 -
Hi again
I have cleaned both bathrooms, office, bedroom and spare room and hoovered both flights of stairs, just having a quick cuppa and then I will move on to the lounge, it’s more of a flick over than a deep clean today but at least it’s getting done.
Raining here now, DH was doing some bits in the garden but has just dashed in... looks like any more outside jobs are off the agenda!
Hopefully it might dry up later on and we can get out for a walk, or it might have to be a quick dash round the block in the rain... we shall see.
Righto, mustn’t sit too long or I will lose momentum! Back later x8 -
Good morning
A slow one here again! I kept waking up with a headache, but DH very kindly got some parrots from downstairs, and I slept ok after that!
I have had breakfast/brunch and I am sitting in the garden contemplating what to do next. It is still warm & sunny here, so maybe I should do jobs in the garden while I can. If I finish off the pots, I can cross that job off my toots list!
Maybe I should just chill - it is sunday after all! (I think!!) DD2 is STILL watching carp on Netfl!× so I am trying to avoid that room! I am surprised she is not brain dead yet!!
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them!8 -
Washing brought off the line earlier as I thught I could smell rain.. sure enough .. it rained .. for all of 2 minutes..
Mogs all fed and watered.. as are the girls..
Meem went off to shop with DS2 at 8:30 this morning.. they are both now snuggled up in bed snoring! I swear they are not normal! I've had about 4 hours of very broken sleep and jst can't be bothered.
Not heard anything as yet regarding mil.. I'm sure it is just the hospital being ridiculous, they dotend to over-react to nothingness while under-reacting to the important things.
Fayolle.. post anyway.. it doesn't have to be interesting .. even if you put a crisp packet in the bin and have 25 paragraphs of waffle.. keep posting.. your snaity may depend on it!
DW to load and I am filling boxes of toys for chazzer.. I totally need rid of it all..
I am then going to look at the bank. I have just bought Twinkles birthday presents and I have not much left but there are some bills coming out tomorrow so once they have gone I will pay a chunk off a couple of bills. I have reduced/deferred a lot of the bills so I can get rid of the electric bill which is nasty.. I deferred the hateful loan too for 3 months even though it is supposed to be paid off in August.. I figured the £250 on that could be put to better use and our tax credits will be back to the proper amount in June so hopefully OH will be back at work and our income will be manageable.. fingers crossed and all that .. 3 weeks of struggling left! .. just 3...

Piggers I think everyone is struggling with one thing or another, the night mare just goes on and on.It is blowing a hoolie here, yesterday OH got red arms, we saw 3 folk swimming in the sea, the sea is high, high waves, and sea going containers ships are sheltering in the lea of the cliffs.I have hoovered round, and emptied the bagless thingy.Waffle to think out loudIf the old dears don't move mid June or at least commit to moving, ie return the paperwork that they still have, I withdraw from the sale, view, when possible the 3 other empty houses I like, put an offer in for one of them if accepted, ask at the same time to move straight in, paying rent, until completion, this would give the owner some money, us some where to live, and I can get my cat back, get my 'stuff' back out of storage, and save £££££ mega bucks, get my solicitor to do the quickest minimum legal bit possible and mega fast. All this sitting around is eating into my savings, ie a new bathroom / kitchen or what ever the property needs has been spent on rent and various fees etc, so they would have to go on hold. Plus there is no guarantee the old folk will go soon, so I could be sitting around for weeks and weeks, time to be proactive and poke them all on Monday.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Thank you for the hugs, I felt them and I needed them ❤️. I’m here, I’m posting. Brace yourselves for drivel...
2 hours at the allotment achieving very little due to a gusty north wind. I came home despondent, but it will have to wait until another day. This afternoon I don’t think that I have achieved much....oh yes, HHI x2 (using the good old spray bottle method to get the old iron to make a difference while I am still waiting for the new one to show its face), WULTD all the odd bits that nobody else cba to do, s&s toilets and basins (ignored that it is Sunday and the bathroom usually gets a good clean), done a meal plan of sorts - and told DH that he is cooking this evening. Cue much whinging and whining - he is only tasked with pasta, and he is Italian for goodness sake!!I might even get my knitting out in a bit and tick off another few rows...10 -
Fayolle.. I left OH to do dinner for the 4 smalls.. no one else.. just them.. he didn't know who had sauce on their pasta and who had it naked.. he cam from the kitchen to ask me where the carrots were in the freezer.. then got snotty when I said do what I do.. LOOK!.. I told him I don't ask him where stuff is in the freezer I just open my eyes! Cue mega-sulk!! I can't even remember the last time he did dinner.. You've done loads..
I've folded some laundry, put both washers on.. the sky appears to have forgotten its downpour so I can get the three loads out when they've finished. I am absolutely freezing!
I need my bed.. but I will get that bedroom vacuumed and then crack on with my knitting once the smalls are in bed.
Squeak appears better today though still running on calpol to get the temp down. mil still in hospital.. they swabbed for CV.. pointless really she didn't go in with that or anything which could be related and had been in less than 24 hours so where they think she would have got it from in that short period is anyones guess, viral infections take a couple of days at least to trigger an immune system response which would cause a raised temp.. though I guess she could have got it before but she claims to have not been out, though I doubt they are washing produce from the shop.
Vacuum... must move my lazy behind!
