Good evening
I spent a few hours at the allotment and I felt like I actually achieved something! The spuds are in, and I have protected the strawberries, tomatoes and the other potato patch against the cold spell they keep threatening. Although I don't think it will be cold tonight, so I hope they are okay! I also cut the grass.
Back home we had roast chicken for dinner and I pottered in the garden. We watched Finding Dory this evening, and then remembered that I hadn't put the seedlings away and locked the shed! Cue a quick scramble to get them in, checking for snails first and avoiding anything the dog may have deposited on the lawn! 2 lots of washing FUPA.
I hope everyone has enjoyed the sun again today. Apparently the seafront was mobbed today! 😡🤦♀️ Most people had travelled from London when asked! What is it that people don't get?!! 🤬 Covidiots!!!
Night night all, and stay safe!8 -
GI.. someone was fined here last week for driving 40 miles to walk their dog on a beach... Their lives.. if they want to risk dying then so be it.. I think they should be refused priority medical treatment if they are ill through stupidity.. al scenarios not just this. I can't believe the number who are hashtagging 'stay home' and posting pictures of themselves out and about all over the place.. children playing in the street with the neighbours children.. all households sat out the front in the street.. bear in mind the virus causing nuclei can travel 160ft and cause illness.. yet everyone has this misguided notion tht so long as they are 2m away it is all ok. 2m is just so people cannot physically touch.. it doesnt mean a cough won't get you!! This one particular person works in the NHS too.. the hospital staff were all outside the hospitals clapping and standing there in their work clothes with the marauding masses, firefighters, police.. all in a huddle... if they are too stupid to get it what chance do the other idiots have? I actually despair at the total stupidity and selfishness of the people of this planet .. so much ignorance and not enough common sense.

Morning all
Well I didn’t get nearly as much done yesterday as I planned, I did scrub out the downstairs loo, cleaned the utility room, cleaned out the cupboard under the stairs and emptied bins and litter trays. Then it was too warm so I sat and finished my book... and started another one!
Today really does have to be flying time, weather looks quite sunny at the moment but it’s supposed to be much cooler, I’m going to shower and dress and make a start in the office and spare room.
Take care all, back later x8 -
BadCat - it's tipping down here - that's why I chose not to sit outside
I suppose I ought to make a move now that I've eaten breakfast and supped my second brew.
Round 1 =
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
WUDUPA
Put out the recycling

Morning all,
I haven’t posted for a few days, as quite frankly I don’t think that I have anything interesting or useful to contribute, but I’m cheering you all on from the sidelines. I hope all poorlies feel better soon.Going to check the weather forecast now as it is sunny here atm.
Have lovely days all7 -
Morning Fayolle xx I'm not sure that anything I write could be described as either interesting or useful to be fair but what now worries me is that you have described exactly how I feel about posting when the BD is nipping at my heels and my self-worth. I hope that's not the case chez Fayolle. Humungous flylady hug heading your way just in case xx In fact, have a humungous hug anyway - for being you
xx
Round 1 completed + another clump of goose grass pulled up (spotted it when I went out to feed the birds). Not raining here at the moment, but heavy grey sky and a north / north-east wind = cool and gloomy.
Not cool and gloomy in here though - having a coffee

Morning all.
Big (((hugs))) to Fayolle and anyone else affected by the BD / cold / howling wind / pouring rain / general misery - hope something comes along to brighten your day!
Yesterday I managed to mow the lawn, do 5x WM including both lots of bedding, re-pot the tomato seedlings which are going horribly leggy indoors, empty some big pots, sweep the patio, take Rosie for her walk, and cook chicken curry. Oh, and DS2 and I had a long chat and inspected each other's gardens via WhatsApp
Not sure that I shall achieve a lot today, but it is the day of rest, so I shall probably zzz after lunch and give my shoulder a rest. Church this morning: I just need to decide which one to go to...8
