Can I join in? I'm a bit late obviously but I really want to clear my debts by Christmas. My credit card is the big on ereally and I really struggle with paying that off for some reason. Our final debt count stands at £4207 at the moment.
My credit card- £2395
My personal loan- £1310
My over draft- £400
DH over draft- £100
He is contributing to paying off the debt as i've had to support him financially over the past 3 winters as he's been unable to work - hence the debt! Although i've been no angel. Anyway, ramble over.

Morning everyone,
I have nothing to report yet.Welcome to any newbies and well done to everyone so far..let's keep it up.
I gave up smoking 6 days ago so will have more money to throw at the debts etc...and I won £1k on thursday on a girls night out on gala bingo...so will now be able to start paying my debts off at a quicker rate again as progress as been slow the last couple of months due to having windows etc fitted...the last of these are to be done in about 4 weeks then I'll be rocking and rolling again...
have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all, lots of positive posts.
Pollydaydream, well done for paying off another debt, at least they are going down rather than up.
Welcome Jak and good luck with the challenge, am sure you'll do fine.
Taxi, congrats on the bingo win, bet that was a big boost.
As yet i haven't had chance to update my totals and see where i stand, my info is on my old computer so will check this out later when i finally have chance. I have the next two weeks off due to school holidays and have no other work lined up, so it will give me an opportunity to catch up with everything and maybe look at more money making ways.
I have two mystery shops lined up for today and hope to get back to matched betting tomorrow as i really want to start increasing my amount, feel like its been stuck for some time.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Just over 15% paid now (£3022).
Finally started paying off my overdraft. Can't wait for that to be gone.
Glad to see everyone is doing well.0 -
Well done all. You lucky thing Taxi!
A quick update - have now paid off £3662.94 since I started this challenge in March, nearly at the 20% mark.
Although I know that it makes more sense clearing debts with a higher rate, I have, when I can, cleared a few of the smaller debts. It makes me feel much better. I have cleared off 6 debts so far, including my capital one card £308 and the Money Shop £250.:T
I have £116 tracked/validated on quidco - which I have linked to a savings account and an going to start selling stuff on amazon, initially for my house move, but any left over will go to the debts.

Well done pheonix....
my amount is for one large amount..I would love to be able to be paying small amounts off...oh well...
My ebay items finished this afternoon. I'll wait till I've been paid before adding it to my total, though.
I've also put some things on Amazon. I think I've only ever sold one thing on Amazon before. I don't find my things sell. I'm giving it another go, though and we'll see what happens.
I'm starting to get a collection of things that will be good for a carboot sale. I'm not sure where I'm going to store them all!0 -
Well done Taxi :T I was chuffed with £60-odd
We are car-booting in a few weeks time, never done one before so fingers crossed! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
