Good morning everyone and welcome to new joiners.
We've had snow overnight and now the sun is shining - it looks beautiful outside (although glad I don't have to go out).
Everyone's doing so well. Congratulations to all who have cleared a debt - it feels great, doesn't it.
Taxi - well done on the smoking. I'm hoping to join you soon. It just seems so ridiculous to be working so hard at making money and then watching it, literally, going up in smoke. Talk about faffing.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,
A good week. OH has arranged extra work though his employer and have been helping him with this. Will be paid in 2 weeks and we think we will then have enough to pay off the MBNA. :j
Had a win on the National with Betfair (thank you Martin) and £50 with Quidco - total profit £84.96.
Taxi - well done on giving up smoking. :T :T :T0 -
Hi Everybody, new tax year so I got my bonus and knocked a bit off my total. Now the hard work of actually reducing it with my monthly income begins! Like I said earlier had planned on 18k by x-mass but hope this challenge motivates me that little bit more.
Good luck to every oneDebts as of 01/june/08

Still snowing here, in East London. I am enjoying looking down the street and seeing who has heating on and who doeesn't from the roofs of the houses.
Anyhow - back on thread, I won £100 on the national yesterday so that will go nicely towards my total for this month - I was worried about going off track for the £20k because I have loads of birthdays and stuff this month but brilliantly I now will be fine - yay.
Well done everyone for all the great progress - and a special congrats for taxi for the brilliant bingo win.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi all,
very inspiring thread and it will be great to share advice and stories with others.
I currently have a debt of just over 20k and want to get it paid by the end of the year, already paid around 3-4k to get it to this stage and want to buy a house next year so I will be doing everything I can to get it done.
I have also joined the 10 pound a day challenge and will be putting in some time on that as 3650 a year would really help.
I have some assets to sell from my previous business that should pay most of the debt, but it will take alot of work to get all of it sold, I need to get cracking.
I will update my sig as often as possible.
Thanks all for giving the inspiration and place to share my achievements!DEBT FREE - FEB 2010  (LBM £24,000)

FrankieM, well done on the ebay amount, thats a nice profit. I wish i had things to sell on ebay but i have literally got rid of most of my stuff and the few bits that are left wouldn't sell.
Still, once i finish this boring assignment i will update totals and see if i have any money spare to do some matched betting.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi All,
Saturday was a great day - my overdraft went back in to the black for the first time in a year YAY YAY YAY YAY :T
This will enable me to close the account and no more Abbey :j
That means only 3 debts left ( im grinning from ear to ear) Ok they are the biggest but I now have extra money to snowball my two cards - goal is to have them both paid off this year - then I can tackle the loan.
