  • Thanks everyone, you will keep me on the straight & narrow, I am hoping to be able to overpay my mortgage at some point, but as our income will be lower I don't know how realistic it is, also I think I'm going to go for one I can port, my Hubby has reapplied to do what he is doing now, horrible as he is at sea a lot, hopefully back at the end of May:eek: but, it is a means to an end, & if he can do another 18 months, we should be able to move, that's if we can all cope with him doing it again, it's quite a strain with 2 little ones & he misses us all :o
Andan, I could have done a bit of stoozing instead of clearing my cards, they were 0% but I just don't have the nerve & just wanted rid, especially because of the re-mortgage. Good for you though for having the guts.

well todays the day i pay of another big chunk of our debts. so another £321.18 to pay of.
also joined up to the make £10 a day challenge but ill only add the total to that at the end of the month. doing well though iv already got £135 to that chalenge. just now deciding if it for paying of 2 small debts, holiday spends or the initial outlay for my buisiness wich will then make more to pay of more debt quicker. i just cant decide what to do. but seeing as i may have a craft fair in june to start my buisiness i might put it towards getting all my stuff ready for that.
    good luck this month everyone.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

Just a quick update. Aiming to pay off at least £20,000 over 10 months (ending Dec '08) and make a huge dent in my overall debt. So far I have managed to clear over £3K, so by my reckoning I am pretty much on target.

Made a few more payments and updated my total. Scary to think that money would be all mine if I was debt free!!!!! Roll on that day and fast!

There's some excellent totals, great to see how well everyone is doing and is certainly spurring me on. Still not had a chance to sort out my salary from the month or work out my budget so haven't updated totals as yet. However i haven't really spent anything as yet so thats not too bad either. Will be pleased over the weekend though when i can actually see some changes to my total.
