this money and it was just going on debt. I feel a bit crap because I know I'm the spender of the two of us but I am trying hard to change.
I want to join the grocery challenge now because my January total was a disgrace. I kept a spending diary (and actually wrote in it for a change!) this month and it was a bit of a shock. I had always just gone on visa bills to calculate how much I was spending on groceries. But once I added in all the little trips to the local shop here and there and the times I only paid cash - it was a bit of an eye-opener. So will try and change......
I used to feel the same as you about how awful it was how much I was paying each month towards debt but I kind of changed my outlook, the faster I pay it off the less interest I pay and the sooner that money every month will be mine.

Well i have been busy matched betting today, another day off work with this dreaded cold, so may as well try and make the most of it. Have already made £30 profit, with the potential to make another £60 profit. Am now off to go and do some surveys and my daily clicks, every little helps!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Good effort andan. even with loads of time to myself I couldn't get my head round MB so always given it a miss. Then again might make it one of my projects soon. Its worth it even if you do what you've done once a week

Afternoon everyone
Ideally I would love to join this, and pay off the whole of my debt by November 2008 (the end of November!).
I am making extra payments to things, and I have sold everything I can on ebay/amazon, and I have joined slice the pie... but thats all i can think to do.
I am off work today, but cant do daily clicks as my computer keeps dying at home and its all blocked at work.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Amy, what's slice the pie?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
It's the worst thing ever in the entire history of the internet!!! You get paid 3p for losing 60 seconds of your life listening to some of the worst music on the planet. But that's obviously just my opinion!:punixgirluk wrote: »Amy, what's slice the pie?
It is at slicethepie .com. They pay out through Paypal when you get to £5, which is great if you're really good at it and get your rating up quickly, but I'm still at 3p per song, with about a quid in the coffers - which isn't increasing at any rate as I can't bring myself to do it!
Some people really love it and do really well at it, so I think it's something that works for some but not for others. I find it so bad, I'd actually rather play bingo... and that's saying something! There's a full thread about it somewhere.
My DH got an expenses cheque for £99.40 the other day, which we've paid to an overdraft rather than the normal account, so that's another £99.40 off my 20k I suppose - better than nowt! My total is therefore £3397.95.0
