    Good morning everyone!

I have shifted a few pennies around so I can pay off a few quid to try and make myself feel a bit more positive. Am really trying to pull my belt in for this short month to try and pay some extra off.

Also trying to will myself out of bed on a sunday morning to try and get some money from the car boot!

so this morning I have paid off £9.69 and my totals are now

    Loan £11332.98
    Forma £1207.99
    Overdraft £ 1500

    Total £14040.97

Which means I have paid off £638.30 So far!

  • I've had a good weekend. I went home to see my OH and opened loads of post. I had a letter from Lloyds about the PPI and they are going to refund me £370 plus interest and if thats the interest on the loan then its quite high. So that means that I can clear at least 1 maybe 2 of my smaller debts which I had set a target to myself to clear by April. And its a saving of £100 per month. And another good thing is this month is the last payment for my phone bill as Ive now gone to pay as you go and that will save me a fortune each month too. So this month is going to be paying off the pennies and next month I can start making bigger dents in the debts!!! And Ive managed to up my winnings for bingo and at the moment (after putting in a small sum to deposit) I have made £60. Which will be going off of one of the nasty credit cards.

Well done everyone on making loads of payment. I now can't wait for my totals to start going down.

Well my day just got worse, my Egg card is one of those being cancelled. I've never missed a payment and I always make more than the minimum payment (and I've nver gone over my limit). Guess they don't make enough money out of my 7% APR then?

What a bummer!! Does than mean you have to pay it all up straight away then or just never get to use it again??

Thought I should do a proper update...

I've managed to pay off £397.84 this year and have £251.16 in my loan savings account (I've already done the max overpayment I can do per month) :j 10.7% paid off / saved so far! Only another £5403.56 to go

I'm a wee bit behind where I would like to be but I know I'll get 2 cost of living increases and a pay increment at different points this year so these will be going straight towards this so thing should speed up a bit later in the year.
    Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Won't get to use it again and they'll keep taking my direct debit till its paid off. I'm raging. I've never missed a payment. There's a really heated thread about it on the CC board. Seems 161000 people have had the same done to them. It was useful for the cashback at christmas!

    Forma £1199.89
    Overdraft £1500

    Total debt now £14032.87
