First payment for January will be made tomorrow, £5 :rotfl:
Still it's the right thing to make the lower payment, it's a 0% debtNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I have today paid off an extra £550 :j
Two more loan payments come out tomorrow, so will be amending my signature again in the morning:D

Well managed to pay off quite a bit this month due to a good month's wage from husband. However, he did get quite depressed at how much we have left to pay. We seem to be a bit of a glass half-full/glass half-empty couple! I though it was great we paid so much, he thought it was awful he made all
this money and it was just going on debt. I feel a bit crap because I know I'm the spender of the two of us but I am trying hard to change.
I want to join the grocery challenge now because my January total was a disgrace. I kept a spending diary (and actually wrote in it for a change!) this month and it was a bit of a shock. I had always just gone on visa bills to calculate how much I was spending on groceries. But once I added in all the little trips to the local shop here and there and the times I only paid cash - it was a bit of an eye-opener. So will try and change......0 -
Babymother..you have took positive steps now and those spending diaries are a real eye opener!!!..just think how much money you'll have once you have paid your debts off0

Morning everyone.
Paid another £25 off council tax arrears - just one more month to go.
On another note, can anyone tell me how to quote someone else's message in a reply? I know it sounds a bit dumb; I have searched, but can't find the answer.
Thank you.

Hi Polly, the Quote button beside the Thanks button at the bottom right corner of each posting is the Reply + Quote feature. (I just tested it out here to make sure that's right!)0 -

A bit fed up today as npower have taken too much money out of my account and left me with nothing  . That affects my totals for this challenege as they've taken me over my overdraft again
But at least my loan payment has gone increasing my totals overall. my new totals are now;
Loan £11332.98
Forma £1217.68
Overdraft £1503.82:mad: bloody npower
New debt total £14054.48
Which means i've paid off £624.87 so far! :j
One of my aims is to be sub 14k by the end of next week. Must do car boot sunday!!!!

Morning everyone, hugs to everyone who needs it. Made another loan payment this morning. my car loan finishes in September and I'm so looking forward to it. Really would love to get rid of my nasty cc (the one listed in my signature) this year as the company that I have it with are **** (not repeatable) and I can't switch it at the moment.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Laura have you complained to them? What have they said? They can't take more than they've told you they'll take.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
