Hello all! Just wanted to post to keep me motivated as it's freezing cold and need to keep my spirits up!
Did some small things today: joined the lunch log challenge to keep an eye on lunchtime spends and listed some books on amazon in my lunch break. Oh and actually remembered to do my spending diary yesterday!
Booked a day's holiday tomorrow so going to do proper grocery shopping list and meal plan and start looking for other things to put on Amazon.
Hope everyone's having a good day!Proud to be dealing with my debts!
Current debt: HSBC loan £16,000 HSBC overdraft £1,500 Halifax C/C £1,500

I have 2 items selling on ebay and got a whole £2.52 paid to me today from Quidco, thats gone into the pot!
I have also listed a few things on Amazon and greenmetropolis.com£23366/ £39206.92 DFD Nov 20160 -
hopeless case, you get some money from amazon to cover the cost of postage but they do also take some fees from you as well once your books sell. It's definitely worth doing I think as some books seem to be worth a lot more than you'd imagine!
I put some old textbooks on there and one is supposedly worth £25! I hasn't sold yet mind you but you never know!Proud to be dealing with my debts!

Updated sig as a small amazon payment has come through.
Have shifted my credit card to a 0% interest one but this means when it goesthrough debt with temporarity increase by £50 due to balance transfer free, but I'll save £30 a month in interest so I'm better off in the long run:D

I've been doing amazon for a while now and must have made about £200 in the last year and it is the weirdest things that make the most! I sold the innocent smoothie book for £25 and I only paid £14 for it!! (it was the orange one for anyone who's got one and fancies making a bob
)
unfortunately I overspent on the groceries today - i think the budget was far too strict at £15 a week and will need to be revised. going to follow the grocery challenge boards, watch what i do in jan and cut back in feb.
keep up the good work eveyone! :jGC: Jan £118.67/£175

Well added a little extra to my horrid cc and have updated my sig accordingly. I got some fab news last night. I should be over the moon (I am really) but my debt is putting a dampener on it. My partner has asked if I want to start living together. I've said yes of course! I love him to bits but am even more determined to get rid of my debt now. Just wish I didn't have so much hanging over me :mad: . I feel like my debt has put a dampener on things. It'll mean him and the kids moving in with me as I have the bigger place. I know it means shared bills but I know for definite electricity and gas bill will go up! I really want to start living with him as I can't stand being away from him and the kids (love spending time with them too). Anyone else just wish they could click their fingers and make their debt disappear?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

We probably shouldn't answer that - the whole system would probably crash with the volume of 'ME!!!'s being posted!!!
Good luck with the move in with BF - planning it soon?0
