Hi All, I too have 'faffed' around. This is my first post although I have been an avid reader of all the diaries/challenges for some time.
I didn't think we were big spenders but we never seem to be clear of debt and there always seems to be an excuse. Last year's excuse was a loft conversion but it is pretty lame considering we remortgaged to pay for most of it....
So this is a good challenge for me and hopefully I will benefit from the collective kick up the a**e!0 -
I am the biggest faffer i know but how i can save that much is beyond me what do you do take an extra job?Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £6000

It's probably way too ambitious for me too but I know what I'm like! If I make it easy for myself I'll just keep faffing around. However, if I take on a big challenge I might at least make it half-way there....:rolleyes:0

Hi guys, You don't have to set yourself a target of £20 000, some of us are going for £10 000, it's up to you really as to how much you feel you could aim for. For me i don't really care how much i make as long as i make something, but having people to share it with and support me makes me think anything is possible.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Well its back to work for me tomorrow so less chance to make some extra money, have been listening to slice the pie loads over the pass few days so am looking forward to going back to work!
Am trying to be very good this month as unfortunately i have so many payments on other things going out this month, so less chance to save. It will be disheartening to see my total not going up, but i've been entering loads of competitions so fingers crossed i win something.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi all - how are we all doing. I am going to have to start again as I have realised I havent been adding on my interest to my loan - just deducting payments (if only it was that easy!)
So will get all the figures together and have a new starting amount tomorrow. Still on for the 15k though - just a month behind now x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

hey everyone and welcome to all our new joiners!
babymother - you summed the aim of the group perfectly! Lets set our targets high and when we achieve even half of them - we've done a fantastic job!
I found out today that my commission in January will be higher than I expected! I'll wait until payday before including it the total cos who knows what will be left after tax and student loan repayments! very excited though! :j :j
also - I've been looking through southern scousers debt diary and got loads of inspiration from there. the aim for this weekend is to get the hang of matched betting to generate some cash.
