Really, really hot here and lots of children about playing. I don't know who they all are or where they have all come from but I'm not sure they should be outside my door. I'm rather afraid that people are beginning to ignore social distancing in a big way. The boy further up the block has started cutting the grass so they might go home. I know I sound like a grump but I don't want to undo the good I've done by staying indoors for ten weeks because someone isn't taking this seriously enough.
Anyway, I made lasange for the first time in many, many years. It was lovely (quite pleased that I can still do it) but it is so hot that we could only eat a little. Lots left for another time.
Payday tomorrow so have to get planning for next month.

Even hotter here today than it was yesterday. Party going on outside. Three 21 year olds and a 17 year old plus a couple of friends who missed their birthday celebrations due to lockdown. Not as bad as it sounds. They birthday children come from two households, have borrowed all our chairs and are having a drink, some snacks and playing music. Doing their best to maintain social distancing and being responsible. Might get a little bit noisy later but ,at least, they seem to be being a lot more sensible than some of the scenes I've seen recently.
Pay day today and budget all sorted. Really spent more than we should this month so June must be extra frugal. In saying that it hasn't been that bad. Replaced a few things but we haven't really been frivolous.
Don't know what we will have for dinner. Too hot to think about it. Think I'll have a nice cold G & T first.

Lots more people about here since the lockdown was eased. Very, very hot again so I haven't managed that walk yet.
Tesco delivery arrived about an hour ago so lots of nice things in the fridge, freezer and stores. It's just too hot to cook or eat. No idea what we're going to have but the meal plan is out the window. It won't be a takeaway though.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5
