Seriously? It really is none of their damn business to investigate his tax affairs!digalumps said:print off your tax return and send it to them.0 -
Something isnt sitting right with the way the bank are acting. They want all the details of my tax return but they will not put that instruction in writing point blank refusing to as they even saying themselves they areng investigating my faces but they want all my tax return info it just doesn't make any sense.0

No they are not. You would be able to receive up to £6000 income before your UC would be impacted. I gave you the information and quoted the regulation on the first page of this thread.byrnez92 said:

I haven't gone back through all the pages again but is it possible that they're looking for evidence that you're running a business through the account, and see a claim for mileage from HMRC as more incriminating than other transactions?byrnez92 said:Something isnt sitting right with the way the bank are acting. They basically want a full breakdown of my expenses filled out on my tax return to show in entitled to it0

But HMRC have advised me not to send them if anyone needed evidence to prove entitlement to a return would be HMRC an they dont want nothing else from me as far as HMRC are concerned my tax affairs are in order an the rebate has been paid out by them .0

fine - then don't have the money. Completely the OPs decision.ratechaser said:

The OP has two options:
1. Send a copy of their tax return to the bank and hopefully the money will be released
2. Don't send a copy of the tax return to the bank in which case the bank keep the money
Option 2 can further be broken down:
2a. Don't send a copy of the tax return, shrug shoulders and move on with life
2b. Don't send a copy of the tax return and endlessly whinge on here
The OP is currently stuck on 2b I suggest moving to 2a or 1 as soon as possible1 -
I would suggest supplying them the information to expedite release then raise a formal written complaint over their actions and take it to the FOS.

That would be my choice.molerat said:I would suggest supplying them the information to expedite release then raise a formal written complaint over their actions and take it to the FOS.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1
