Thank you laddies for helping me with the choice and pointing out the better plan. So option B wins and will send that to the architect as the one to go with. I will now look into the finer details of the plan to look at door size and and skylight sizes etc. Thank you ladies. With some luck I will be able to let the planning application to be done first week of October as this will give me a chance to make any alterations before then, don’t want to be too quick.Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)

An Update
My weekend was really good as managed to do a few things. The children are all back and house was full once again. Uniforms are all sorted except for shoes. I had asked Mr Ex to buy uniform, trousers and shoes but as always he does not complete the full list so I still have to run around last minute and get shoes, well I have to be thankful for the trousers I guess? He winds me up very easily this Mr Ex! 🙇🏽♀️Finally managed to empty a bedroom which had been full of stuff from since we moved. I then fixed the bed in the emptied bedroom so that my older son can use that room. We then removed the top bunk bed so that my younger son can now have the smallest double bedroom to to himself. I moved all the stuff from that room into my own bedroom so that I am forced to deal with it. It has been a process and I am half way there! My bedroom is still upside down from all this but I am getting there!
on Saturday I met up with two friends who are also single woman and we had a nice lunch in a very nice pub! We had not met up since the lockdown so this was nice just to catch up as girls!Everything to do with the mortgage is going on like clockwork as it’s all being paid through direct debits and weekly standing orders which I can adjust when necessary.Managed to transfer today £1447.26 into the building fund bringing the total to £11700 meaning £88300 to go. Had look around to add £47.26 to make it a round figure. I still hope to find more money to save over £2k this month but will see how it goes.XxInitial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)

Sounds like an extremely productive weekend SG. I am impressed that you have done so well with the extension savings and have a solid plan in place already that is going for planning permission. There is no messing! I admire your resolve to just get stuff done.Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870

Good evening ladies
I hope you have all had a productive week so far? Mine has been alright and just pushing hard trying to save for the extension. The weekly stop order for OP went out yesterday.Today I have managed to transfer another £770 to the building fund, bringing the total to £12470 so still £87530 to go 🙇🏽♀️.I have received an amended draft for the plan and I think this layout is fine to now be finalised and see if we can apply for planning permission. Please check out plan laddies and comment as after this I will probably have to stick to it.Final draft for approvalInitial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)

Just catching up with the last couple of posts - sounds like you had a really busy and productive weekend with the sorting/organising. I know what you mean about transfering a few things to your bedroom so you're forced to deal with them!! All to easy not to when they're out of sight. The plans for your extension look really exciting! Well done on making headway with the building fund.
