Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Aren't smart meters wonderful? Installed in 2019, goes dumb early in 2020 and the customer gets a bill that's hugely wrong !Facepalm
What readings does the IHD give you?
Isn't that Utility Warehouse's fault for fitting a Smets1 meter in 2019. If they'd fitted Smets2 then it would still be smart and the op wouldn't be having this problem.

A smart meter from which it is difficult or impossible to take a manual reading simply isn't fit for purpose, full stop.

Unfortunately even some (most??) SMETS2 meters don't survive a supplier change

Not going to disagree with that 😂
  • Don't know if my earlier comment was missed but it looks like EON are simply adding the registers together and billing the total as the day.  Think that is a common problem in the Smets 1 world.

By using button 9.  But there is no sight of “IMP R01” or “IMP R02”.

From your photos one reading is 01051 and the other is 06282, but it's not clear which is which. If the photos were taken today then take some more readings in a couple of hours and whichever has moved is the day rate.

Send all this information over to e.on along with the photos to show the serial number etc.

According to your UW bill, in December 2019 you used 156kWh day units and 1227kWh night units and the meter readings were 651 & 2586 respectively.  The meter readings today of 1051 & 6286 are in line with that level of consumption.  One wonders where Eon are getting their figures from??
