Goodintentions - Our lockdown has been very strict, it looks like we (over 18’s) will be allowed out from 2nd May for 1 hour per day but only in an area 1km from home & it may be restricted between 9am & 2pm (still to be confirmed).'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'10 -
juliejim said:Question : I have quite a few pairs of tights which I hardly ever wear anymore - just on the odd occasion that I wear a dress for work or if I go out in a dress (bearing in mind that I don't go out out very often). There's nothing wrong with them though so I am loathe to throw them away or use them for stuffing or such like. I'm wondering whether to put them in a little bag under my bed as they are taking up valuable drawer space at the mo. What do you think?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9

Here I am again, sitting on Mr T booking site. Seems to make no difference if you are priority, they still all go fast. Now Mr N is registered on the vulnerables, he's getting plenty of texts from various sources and today had a phone information/interview with one of the helpers checking to see what he needed. So that's given us a couple more phone numbers. We're not bothered at the moment, just unpacked a large delivery yippee gluten-free spaghetti at last!! Got a c&c booked for 9th.
Lots of lovely rain almost all day, I can almost see the seeds growing!
Mr N changed bedlinen in spare room and our room.
I did more washing up and clearing.
Lots of old paperwork culled having decided I really don't need to hang on to all the notes and handouts of all the training courses I've been on since 2009..........had to look through them all though, kept certificates and a few odd useful bits, but by the time I finish it tomorrow I'll have got rid of one A file and one lever arch file.
My brother showed me this computer design software (free) that you can use to design rooms, there is a large library of pictures so you can 'build' your room and rearrange the furniture, looking at both a plan and a 3-D image of what the room will look like. I don't know if there is much scope to rearrange furniture in my study, but it's quite fun to use, dragging desks etc around electronically to see how they will look and if they fit. Mr N keeps talking about more shelves and I keep saying I don't want more shelves, just less "stuff". Still I'm making progress.
Gritted teeth and phoned a new internet provider, having been procrastinating about moving for years as ours is so slow. Listened to the recorded message of 'working from home, may take some time to reply' etc and decided to email my questions. If I get that sorted it will be the frog of all frogs decision-wise. Our rural village broadband is so pathetic but the only alternative, cable laid last year, is much more expensive so it's a difficult decision. However we won't be having a holiday or spending much money for the foreseeable future so have more or less decided to go for it and risk VoiP phone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -

frog eaten 1st thing and it zapped my guag. I took down the living room nets and shrunk them in a 30degree wash. I tackled the mould on the bay window ceiling and try to do the same on the frames. Washed the windows. Swept some cobwebs and rehung the nets.

WULTD done.
I'm just about to clean the windows in the spare BR and sills, and then probably my Br too. Just a few more bits to put away in the spare BR, hoover and put the curtains up. DH can change the light shade too. Clothes still need sorting although I've done quite a few and the airing cupboard needs sorting. I need to make sure the landing is clear for getting the sofabed in and then I think we'll be ready!
Have a good day all

Iona, I hope you are feeling much better today xx
GI - well done on your brilliant cupboard decluttering 🥳🥳
Wet and overcast today, glad I got the washing dried on the line yesterday. We will take the dog out shortly then hunker down I think. I have emptied the DW, wiped all the sides down and flushed the toilets 🙄🙄(why can't small people remember to do it themselves?!). Also made them some toast and me a brew 😃. Have also popped the heating on for an hour to take the chill off, such a change from last week.
Had some good news yesterday, I will get a bit of UC, which is really helpful. Both children have been growing like weeds so I need to get them some bits, pjs and undies and the like.Right off to brave a short walk, back later xx10 -
Morning xx
Hope you are feeling better today ionafan xx Welcome to the Round Club- ooops indeed! I really don't want to buy a new battery as Pip is going to be replaced as soon as the car dealers are open again. It's galling me that I'm going to have to tax her for six months as it is - but, hey, there are bigger problems in life. Our building joined the pause to remember our nhs and social care colleagues - including one from one of our hospitals
One of the managers has decided that we should stop and clap at 1pm on Thursday when we are all at work!!!! I'm not frontline but most of my colleagues would be clapping themselves!!! How does that work then? (Quickly hides my 'don't get me started about managers' soapbox!!)
It's a little un-nerving having the swabbing team based in our building especially when someone's predictive text announces the arrival of the stabbing team!
Done the usual this morning: made the bed, washed and dressed, eaten breakfast, packed lunch. I'll feed the birds, put out the recycling and leave DS a note asking him to put out bin ready for collection tomorrow - otherwise I have to faff about before I can park Pip in the drive when I get home tonight.
Have a good day y'all xx Fluffy mules and hugs are flying into the ether

Morning all
I won't be flying this morning as have another 2.5 hour training session, but will see how it goes after that.
OH has gone into work today to sort out which desks can be used etc and plan a one way system to walk around the office.
Our prime minister announced his coming out of lockdown plan yesterday and it has so many ifs and buts that we are none the wiser at all. I might be able to go a bit further on my walk and not need to fill in a piece of paper every time!
Cat has lost his collar so need to have a look round the garden for that, I found it last time as he doesn't go very far.
So far today
Bed made, clothes picked up
Lunch made for OH to take to work
Porridge eaten to try and help me through training as I'm tired today
See you later when I've done something

Morning all,
I hope you are feeling better today, Iona x
It’s work day today, so the wm is on already, tea has been quaffed, and I am thinking about facing the day. DH has to go to pick up a prescription, so is going first thing. For reasons best known to himself, as it is far less busy later in the day, but he won’t have it. His plan, it seems, was to call in at the nearest c00p on his way back, but he has been thwarted as it is their 2nd hour of opening, and not the first, that is reserved shopping. So it is back to a diet of bread and milk from the village shop. He will preorder a few bits from there for the weekend, if they can get it at the c&c. They are rightly worried that people will stop shopping there once they can easily get back to supermarkets, so I feel that I should do my bit where I can.
Right, I must get going. It is sunny for the moment, but rain forecast for later this morning. The big decision of the day is - washing in or out?!
Take care, ladies. Back later x10
