Evening folks.Thank you for the lists.
Dailies done, towels washed
DS2 replacement jeans arrived. Same size and item number but over an inch smaller on the waist so they will need to be returned sadly.Twinks made. DH is taking a treat to work each day to keep himself motivated. His work is extremely busy and he is having to do overtime. A few weeks ago they were going on to short weeks.
DS1 starts a new job tomorrow so flylady vibes appreciated for that to go well as I’m keeping him at the moment.I’m waiting for the hospital to ring me about my referral and have spilled the beans to DH who have taken it better than I was anticipating. I have some button headbands ready to take when I have an appointment thanks to help from Mrs M P x
DS2 had many meltdowns during the weekend and I have announced that the violence will no longer be tolerated. I have a sore on my nose from my glasses being pushed into my face.10 -
Hugs to all, sounds as if a few are especially in need.
WUDUPA
All kitchen worktops bar one cleared and cleaned. The 'bar one' is a short one, currently has a few (but I promise it isn't a dumping ground) things which need sorting.
Several appliances wiped.
Compost bin emptied.
Floor swept and mopped.
Greenhouse watered.
Did online Pilates.
Walked friend's dog.
Finalised Mr T order for tomorrow's delivery.
Did a bit more office tidying although not enough.
Tomorrow is forecast rain which we desperately need; if it arrives I will devote myself to continue office re-planning and decluttering, plus do a bit more of my online course which I keep forgetting about.
Mr N had a nice surprise today when he was cycling; MIL's care home rang and put his mum on the phone to him. They said that she was having a very 'alert' sort of day so they thought her capable of understanding a phone call. She was a bit bemused but said it was nice to talk to him although nicer when he came to see her. He explained that he couldn't do that until everyone had stopped getting flu and the government let us come out. She seemed to accept that. What a lovely gesture of the care worker, to notice that it would be a receptive time for MIL to understand. He cycled home, rounded a corner and was faced with a dog on an extendable lead which rushed up and nipped his leg. At the time it didn't draw blood, but once he got home there were a couple of drops. The stupid owner said "Oh I shouldn't have had him on a long lead, he doesn't like cyclists". Mr N said he was so shocked at the time he didn't think to say "well if you had warned me I could have stopped and got off the track".
The dessert made using the coconut flour was not much more successful than the pizza really, very crumbly. I'll have to do some research on that.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Morning all,
Wide awake at 5.30 so I got up, emptied the DW and made a cuppa. DS is up now. I am dealing with the issue and feeling better for it.The forecast is poor for later so we will get out with the dog this morning. I have a small WM load to go on, which will need to go over the airer. I have some bits of work to do as well. Freezer dip for tea.Dancemum - hugs to you. I am glad DH reacted better than you hoped.Take care all xx12 -
Morning xx
More flylady vibes heading out in to the ether - available to anyone who needs / wants them: take your pick from squishy hugs, posi-vibes, calming ommms, get well soons, fluffy mules, sticks and spoons xx And here's a sprinkling of love and unicorn sparkle tooxx
I've got the usual Tuesday wobbles, but I'll be fine when I get there. I'm showered, hair washed, dressed, bed made, packed up lunch, eaten breakfast, rinsed a can and a beer bottle for recycling, phoned in for my repeat prescription, made a note to pick up prescription next Wednesday … that's it I think.
So nice to walk into a clear kitchen - well, 3/4s cleared - I still have the last worktop to H2H.
Have a good day xx Stay safe xx

Good morning!
I am awake and having a cuppa in bed and I can hear cars going past on a wet road - yay! 🤸♀️🥳 (I wouldn't have said that in February!) Much needed rain has arrived, and it looks fresh outside. As there will be no gardening today I need to have MAD day indoors. As I don't have a spare room, and the 'kids' do there own rooms, I may tackle the DR, which is my sort of play room - provided DD2 hasn't set up more art work on the table! If I am sorting toys I need the table to stop the dog getting them 😡
Other than that, I need to catch up on the kitchen and I may make some biscuits....
Have a good day everyone 😁10 -
Morning all. I too am pleased with a bit of rain, my new to me plants wont need watering/ DS is back at work so his duvet cover is already swishing. I will wait for a dry day to line dry it. Dancemum I thought they were Twinks and the headbands look very well made. Good luck with the hospital.

Morning all,
Yay to the rain - although how it always manage to choose my day off with such perfect timing is beyond me. I’ve snoozed a bit after DH got up to start work, so slightly later to get going, but I am armed and dangerous with the lists. Just got to get on to it now. After another cuppa...
The hospital have postponed DD’s appointment until June/July. Such a relief, as I was so stressy about the thought of taking her there, and it would have been the final straw for her.
Glad your DS GF is properly sorted, Valli.
Hugs, dancemum.Back later - I have to stay accountable today.10 -
Morning all
I am at work, waiting for a report to run... wide awake at 4 again this morning, haven’t done anything productive with my time though!
Full day of paid stuff ahead, pouring down with rain so I’ve set the wm going but it will need to be TD or airer for that. As I started work early I think I will flap about a bit and do my dailies when it’s time for my next cuppa.
Hugs, posivibes, GWS wishes, sticks, spoons and mules available, fell free to help yourselves.
take care, I will pop back later with a progress report. X8 -
Morning All
My bedding is in the WM as DH got back into bed yesterday so I never got round to stripping it. WULTD done.
Today I need to get on with the spare BR as I didn't touch it yesterday and I want it ready for the sofabed coming tomorrow.
Flylady vibes to everyone but especially those who are waiting results, poorly, have horrible jobs to do, etc.
Asb - we have 3 staff and 1 SLT in each day with about 23 children.
Hugs to all

Another one here who is glad of the rain (just a steady drizzle here, but that's good for the seedlings and the lawn)
Yesterday was mostly a write-off. I started dealing with the cane toad, but then one of our neighbours asked me and NNDN to witness her and her husband's wills - we stood outside in NNDN's garden, as she has a big table. I was fine when I went round there, but came home 10 minutes later with a raging headache and feeling sick - at the time I put it down to the fact that the sun was shining brightly and reflecting off the glass-topped table, but later I realised that it was the start of another migraine. I avoided lunch, curled up on the sofa for most of the afternoon, began to feel better, and decided to drive down to the Post Office (half a mile from home). CoOp almost empty of customers and food, but I found a much-needed bag of caster sugarI bought the stamps I had gone for, and got in the car to come home. Aaarghhhhh!!!! Red warning light showing a problem with the automatic transmission, and a ghastly rattling sound from under the dashboard!!! And I didn't have my phone with me
Slight panic, but the CoOp manager is a friend, and she lent me her phone to ring DH, who drove down with my phone, his phone with the AA app installed, and his AA membership card. A one-hour wait for the AA man, but he then found the problem very quickly: a flat battery which had confused the warning light system
Only a fortnight ago I had said to DS1 that I ought to take the car for a spin to re-charge the battery, and he said, "That wouldn't be counted as an essential journey, and anyway, modern car batteries don't go flat if they're just standing." Really? I think not! (I messaged DS1 later and just got the reply "Ooops!!!") Result: somewhat depleted bank account, but a new battery with a 5-year guarantee was fetched and installed by the AA man (who said they're doing this most of the time now - Flyladies be warned!) so worth every penny. I am now a fully fledged member of the Round Club
The migraine is continuing to grumble this morning, so I might just go back to bed until lunchtime. Looks like most of today will be a write-off too!
(((Hugs))) and spoons all round, and GWS vibes for Valli's DS's GF xxx11
