Valli, I am sorry to hear that 😥 fingers crossed for a swift recovery.Well work was better than expected. Still total overkill (3 kids; 9 staff), but whatever, it's done. Kids had a good day too. Since I got home I have unloaded the DW, taken delivery of my meat order from the butcher, sold an eBay item for £50 😀😀, poo picked, cooked kids dinner, generally tidied etc.
Made a plan to deal with the rubbish thing tomorrow, so vibes would be appreciated. I also need to source a plumbing snake (ooh-eer 🤣) to try and sort the shower drain (drain unblocker not touching it), and work out why my DW smells... the glamour 🤓12 -

Good luck for tomorrow asb sending you some strength and coping vibes. DS has been to hospital for his scan, I basically sat in the car from 11.30am to 5pm so no idea why I feel so tired. Valli I hope things are OK.
I think it might be an early night tonight.

Coping vibes and hugs coming to you, ASB, for tomorrow.
Lots of gws wishes to your DS’ gf, Valli.
More hugs to you, YL. Take that early night, it is emotionally wringing to sit around and wait, then wait some more.
Hugs to you, round, just for being you.
A full on day again at work. It’s been a challenge to do today’s tasks from afar, but I hope its all been achieved. Flying has taken a back seat today, but the kitchen has been cleared and tidied after dinner, and the floor swept, sink cleaned, small appliances wiped / emptied / shuffled about.
This evening’s plans are to meal plan, and maybe try not to get distracted by this tablet and actually do something useful. My knitting, started I can’t remember when, still only consists of a back and the ribbing for one side. I’m almost looking forward to the forecast rain tomorrow as it will mean that I won’t get distracted by the garden or the allotment or any other excuse I can find. Queen of procrastination, that’s me.8 -
Badcat - I'm wondering if you might be right about it being sciatica. Having said that I was able to pull out and shove back the cooker without a problem. Whatever it is I hope it goes away soon.
asb - assorted flylady vibes are winging your way ready for tomorrow xx
Valli - Wishing DS's GF a speedy recovery xx
YL - hugs xx
All beer bottles have been rinsed and recycled. I left the labels on... and the world didn't end. woot woot. Now that I can see my kitchen I can crack on with H2H again

Good evening!
So, I didn't get much done from the list again....
I did go shopping though - 3 shops visited, so it took a while. It was the first time I have been to the high street (main shopping area) since lockdown, and it is very depressing with all the shutters down. I just hope they will all be temporary. However, I walked straight into savers for poo bags and a few other bits, then straight into boots for sun cream with mozzy repellent and then straight in to Mr S for the main shop - 3 shops and no queueing!! I tried out the self scanner thing (it was being encouraged) and spent too much!
At home I gave the flyers to a friend to deliver at her end of the street, put on a towel wash & got it dry, printed more flyers and delivered them, walked the dog and sorted out a few pots in the garden. DH has been in the loft again. He also broke up some paving in the front garden so we could place the last 2 remaining raised beds (they needed somewhere to drain) and used the slabs to repair the crazy paving where the water board dug up to replace the pipe (a couple of years ago!!)
Valli - I hope DS GF is okay - what a worry!
ASB - sending coping vibes your way
YL - hugs to you
Fayolle - I have been looking at the weather forecast with the hope of having a day indoors to catch up too! Also, the rain is much needed, so I am hoping for a decent amount and then plan a day at the allotment on Wednesday (weeding while I can get them out!)
Round - I'm sorry I haven't been around today!
I am going to tidy up in the kitchen now, and put on the DW before going to bed. I hope the wide awake club doesn't have many members tonight! Night night all!

GF home now...and I have googled it. So connected with what she went into hospital for the other week when she has bad sinusitis and sepsis. She has Crohn's too...she does suffer. And she's delightful and much loved.
I want a new knitting project. For me. Although I have done extensive research on patchwork and patchwork skills and I'm *almost* sorted with that project. I'm also going to list some crap highly desirable items on fleabay.
