Afternoon flyers x
I’m in best I can be. Thanks Valli and Natty for the thread.I’ve been hanging around with the BD can’t seem to shake him at all and AF is just adding to the situation.Anyway I’ve decided less news, FB, Twitter cause it’s not helping me one bit.Started to plan DDs birthday last night and I’ve ordered her a couple of things.Cooked breakfast this morning and I’ve stripped the bed, washed and hung it out. That’s the most I’ve done in days
Off to get the next load out of the machine and then meditate.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged10 -
Thanks for the list Valli - I loved your fine dining beans and toast.
I hope everyone's keeping well xxx
I'm in this week again. Kitchen done, washing load in, dishwasher on, scones made. Now I need to pop out to get presciptions and then relax. Hopefully!11 -
Round 2 completed + WUDUPA pans and baking trays. Plastics for recycling are soaking in the bowl - the end is in sight.
I seem to have pulled a muscle in the back of the top of my leg - but I have no idea how! It's even gnarling when I am sat.

Ouch round, could it be sciatica, that can cause pain in all sorts of spots in that general area?Update from me, just had lunch, wash in on the line and I’m keeping an eye on the weather, made a start on prepping supper as well.
we will have our walk once work is done, I have a Zoom meeting for my book club this evening so flying will be limited this evening but will see what I can do.
bye for now x10 -
Home school planning and printing done for 2 weeks, little people have done their work for today and are now glued to their gadgets
Manic Monday Kitchen and Dining Room
Level 1

Replace what lives there, wiping as you go
Empty bin and clean it out too
Empty out caddies/storage jars or tins and wash them out.
Wipe sill, sockets, door handles and switches and anywhere fingers linger.
Clear and clean sink and accessories - don't forget those out-of-sight places - under plugs and under draining racks
Clean/polish table - wipe mats/change cloth
Check fruit and wash bowl
Throw away your manky dish cloth or sponge and replace with a new one!
Level 2
Wipe down all cupboard and drawer fronts, not forgetting handles and tops and bottom as well as fronts!
Clean hob
Clean microwave
Sort fridge and wipe seals; weave stuff that needs using up into your meal plan
Wash out shelves and baskets.
Dust dining area/room
Descale kettle if needed – Did coffee machine
Clean WM , TD and DW filters; remove WM detergent drawer and wash it out.
Level 3
Pick a cupboard or a drawer; empty it, clean it out and put back its contents tidily
Sweep/mop/vacuum floor
Clean chairs (and highchairs) - don't forget under the seat where sticky fingers linger.
Clean windows in both rooms.
Go round the whole house wiping door handles, light switches and banisters - we WILL be germ-free!Meal plan done, batch cooked split pea soup, pasta salad, pasta in creamy tom source and made egg mayo for sandwiches and boiled eggs for salad to use up what needed so it doesn’t go bad.

Morning spent doing work work.
DS has just taken his GF to opticians; she's having problems.
While the coast was clear I have done the kitchen - including old fashioned mopping - I'm in no hurry for it to dry!
Finished sleeve 2 of the cardigan last night while watching the delicious Marc Warren in Van der Valk.

All plastics WUDU and recycled woot woot.
Pulled the cooker out to retrieve a chocolate egg that fell behind there and also retrieved a teaspoon. Note to self: clean behind the cooker - it's minging! I can now sling the note reminding me that the egg ( small, wrapped and still intact) was behind the cooker.
Now to start on rinsing and recycling the millionty one beer bottles that DS has imbibed during lockdown. OK - there's 26... I exaggerated slightly. The first 5 are soaking - if the labels don't come off easily the rest will be rinsed out and recycled as they are. In fact they might be anyway.... I think it was Jojo told me many moons ago that you don't have to remove labels before recycling. I have stubbornly persisted, but now may be the time to relinquish that habit! We'll see.

GF referred to hospital immediately.
Kitchen cleaned.
Y6 work marked. 2 pieces sent back for copying and pasting directly from a website. Maybe leaving the name of the website and all the hyperlinks in your work isn't the best idea...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
