Oh the bedroom, the joy! My bedroom is not, nor has it ever been a sanctuary it's the upstairs dumping ground where anything and everything that hasn't quite got a home is dumped. It's also where the majority of the storage is in this house (under my bed) as we have very little storage spaces here.....this could take a while

First I need to finish the monthly meal plan and shopping list ready for a big, hopefully last us the month shop. Then empty the car boot as I have been storing all the donations in there so they are out of the way....must try not to dump these in my bedroom!

UP washed and dressed.

WM on, first lot is already out, however I think I have run out of space for any more, plus I have run out of pegs..............

No bread, so had cheese biscuits on their own, not too bad but little dry.

Pie and mash for dinner tonight.

The sun is out, but so is the cold wind,.

Kicked !!!!!! yesterday, got a reply from my solicitor to say she hadn't heard from the other party vendor's solicitor, so I very firmly suggested she chased them, or I would!!!

One cane toad defeated - I have completed the church Gift Aid claim and sent all the thank-you letters
My migraine is still grumbling   
So far, I have S&S'd the kitchen, checked finances, and discovered that the BS has not carried out my maturity instructions    What I expect to be a fairly lengthy phone conversation is about to happen.

Kaz Hope the solicitors sort themselves out soon and you get some good news.
Both bedroom windows and mirrors cleaned
top bunk stripped and remade (hateful job apart from the lovely view of the wood from up there)
taught DS2 to change his bed. 

Dysoned upstairs and mattresses 
filled bird/squirrel feeders up

thinking of writing a new toots list to see where we are.

i waiting for a few parcels, nothing exciting just lightbulbs and dehumidifier refills.

When shops open again.

I’m thinking about getting rid of the boys’ bunk beds as they are 17 & 23 (boys not beds) I don’t want to push the elder one away so am thinking of getting one of those beds with another underneath. Has anyone done this?

I got one of those (from Top Cat) it was very good.  

Our fine dining Beans on Toast is up on facebook.  So far I'm second so I'm gutted.  
I have washing on the line; yesterday's jam set beautifully, and a beef stew in the SC but it's gone in late because I overslept.  I flung the meat and an onion in when I made my coffee then the rest of the ingredients about an hour ago.  I've put a couple of dried bay leaves in, they're my own and the jar smells fabulous.

Valli .. what is the best way to dry bay leaves? I'm assuming it is the new leaves you need? I have a little tree and never been sure.
dance.. my boys complained when i dismantled the bunks and they were 19 and 22... ask them first!! lol.

WM on a clean cycle.. whizzed cleaning cloths through a speed wash so they can go in with the normal load later.. not sure whether to hang out clean stuff to be rained on...
Decented little sachets of milk into an empty bottle... 1.5 pints worth!! lol
S&S'd the kitchen.. unblocked the greasy sink

Sending OH to shop.. fruit, bread and milk as usual.

I spent a few hours at the allotment. I did some digging, but it is so hard! 😭 This is why I like no dig, but I have run out of card. I also did quite a lot of weeding. My allotment neighbour offered to do some digging just as I was leaving (from the correct distance, obvs!). He did a little and then said it was SO hard! I don't feel so bad now! 😂😂
Back home, I have had lunch, put on the DW, shuffled some seedlings & got the washing in. I now need to go to mr Al's for some supplies.

I just wash them and pat them dry then spread them on a sunny windowsill on some kitchen towel.  Leave them about a week Must be ok as, after I have put them in the jar nothing sinister has grown.  
Well I have had lots of votes (looks round and whistles innocently) but still not enough ... there's a hot favourite which will be capturing the mood of the times.  Ah well.  I'll keep trying.

Sorted food cupboard/Fridge/Freezer ready for shopping
Printed school lunch voucher - This has been a right faff  and we have waited weeks for it, luckily it came yesterday
Done some things in my room inc dusting, not perfect but looks better 
Month end money juggling

Still need to empty the car boot and get dressed  I also want to start a toots list of everything I have that needs doing!
Well done on the gift aid Iona, I have that frog to swallow too and the annual finance report for the charity I help run:/
