Why do you say that? Have you supplied your witness statement and evidence to the court and claimant? When is your court date, when did you receive the notification?

Why would you just pay? That would be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The claim is inflated by fake costs that the Judge wouldn't allow (as long as you attend the hearing and get a WS filed and served).

But what makes you think you will lose?

That is a standard template bundle from BW Legal that EVERYONE gets.

Did the legalese and amount of paperwork gaslight you into thinking it was amazingly strong and for your case only? Nope. It's pants and Judges see right through it as long as you provide one too, and attend the hearing.

You have a whole day and you can do this by tonight.

Start by copying and adapting the WS Bundle shown by @jrhys in 2021 (click on his username and find his replies).

Then, because the Govt has recently BANNED the fake debt costs add-on, you need to improve the second half of the WS to mention that, and the one we ask people to copy from is the first WS in March, by @ricky_balboa

As I said, the deadline was yesterday but just do it today. It won't cause any disadvantage to the Claimant.

On the bit where I have to supply my own story, do I just say I tried parking but their system crashed so the lady behind the counter just took my number plate?

Will that be sufficient or do I need to talk about signage, etc?

You can just adapt the newer ricky balboa one with your facts, what happened. And anything you've spotted about how shaky their 'evidence' is, such as old dated pictures if the site and/or stock photos of signs that weren't there, etc. or rubbish in their WS that isn't right.

The purpose of looking at the posts by @jrhys is to show you what the cover sheet and exhibits looks like, and the headings and statement of truth. And costs assessment if you want to claim costs if you win.

Ok but the truth from my side is I knew there should be a charge and the signage is all there. I just couldnt pay as their payment machine crashed. NOt sure this is enough which is why I feel banged to rights
