Hi, I have been saving my vouchers etc from surveys & my points for Christmas. Here is what I have so far:
Boots Gift Vouchers £95.00
M & S Gift Vouchers £20.00
Book Gift Vouchers £20.00
Revlon Vouchers £10.00
Boots points £6.49
Nectar Points £23.00 (to be cashed at Sainsburys)
Spare Change tin £45.00 (approx)
Littlewoods Cashback £12.00
Asda credit card points £19.41.
I think I have it sorted this year:DTallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -
Spent loads of my Boots points yesterday - got Christmas and birthday present for my Mam's partner (Boss Gift set, £32 and Boss deodorant £17), presents for my nieces (£15 each) and my friend's three boys (£15) and some wooden blocks for DS2 (£10) - all using Boots points! Even better, the 3 for 2 still works when using points so you can buy three gifts and only use points for two of them - bargain!
I now have most of my Christmas shopping for free. I only need to buy for my Mam, my hubby and eldest son - he wants Guitar Hero World Tour and I have £50 in HMV vouchers and over £100 cash in the Christmas account so that will cover that.
Now what can I buy for my Mam and hubby at Boots or Tesco...?0 -

Well done you!
That's interesting, i didn't know you could use nectar points towards purchases, i thought you had to have enough points like Boots cards. Thanks for that.0 -
So how pleased am I that I started this thread? OH was made redundant last week. Luckily for us (well, more for the kids) Christmas is already covered!
Who's up for it next year?0 -
I opened a bank account especially for Christmas and any cash left from food shopping goes in there for pressies. I also am taking part in the sealed tin challange so should be enough for food. OH got an organic turkey from work for £7 and we bought sweets and biscuits when they were on BOGOF. Bought dd present from Argos at half price and granddaughters pressie from Debenhams on their 20% day (from Christmas account). I do not earn any cash from surveys etc but when I buy something with my Boots vouchers I put the money saved into account. We bought all our cards in sales last year so this year I do feel I am having Christmas for free. :T0
