Need to go & check my christmas stash!!
I know I've got about £80 in vouchers, but will need to earn/win a lot more!
I do need to catch up.

I need to update my christmas totals but have lost track a bit of what i've got / spent. I used some HMV vouchers for DS's birthday present and had quite a good shop a couple of weeks ago.
I got
Winnie The Pooh stroller bar (£14.99 reduced to £2.99)
Lil Luvables refill (£14.99 reduced to £4.99)
Hot Wheels thingummy (£19.99 reduced to £4.99)
All paid with Nectar points
Baby book £11.99 paid with WH Smiths points
Children's laptop for age 5+ (£29.99 reduced to £8)
Children's laptop for 10+ (£89.99 reduiced to £29.99)
Fisherprice bath set (£15.99 reduced to £7.99)
Harry Potter 20Q (on DD's Christmas list and £15 reduced to £7.50)
All paid with Argos vouchers from surveys
Not all of these were for Christmas - the stroller bar is for now, the Lil Luvables set my DD bought from me and the Hot wheels was for my friend's son's birthday.
I still have
Boots Points £191 - I hoped I could buy DD a DS lite from there but apparently they're stopped selling them. Bit stumped as to what to use this for now!
Boots vouchers £20
Argos vouchers £90
Tesco Gift card £10
HMV £12.03
WH Smiths £4.16
Nectar: £14.30
Cash: £115
Spent: £146.50
I really need to have a sort out as to what I have stashed away in the attic, what I need to buy and where from. Hopefully I will do that before the end of September.0 -
I have two and half tins of coins in sealed tin challenge and with savings from shopping challenge have been putting in a christmas account. Bought six tins of roses (BOGOF) from Tesco for presents. We tend to give gift vouchers or cash to our family now so don't do much shopping. Hoping to go on holiday for a week straight after Christmas so it will be so nice to have the money.0

I bought the BOGOF Roses / Cadbury's heroes too. have just sent OH to take the tins to staore at his Grandma's house so I don't eat them before Christmas.0 -
Just sent OH off to Argos with £90 of vouchers and £40 from the Christmas acount to buy DD's DS lite and two games. I'm hoping he comes back with a £10 voucher as for the next few days only they are giving away £10 vouchers with a £100 spend and £5 with a £50 spend. I'm hoping that still counts if you pay mainly in vouchers to begin with.
That's DD mostly accounted for. The only other things on her list now are a couple of Bratz outfits and a watch. She's chosen them from Argos but I wonder if Boots sell them - I must find somethng to spend my Boots points on!0 -
Hi all been plodding along but realy must get my act together for the final push,I can't buy alot of the prezzie bits early as we do some of it as secret santa and I wont know who until end of november! Plus mil I dont buy until last minute as anything she mentions she might want she then buys! Mind you promises are good there, last year we promised to take her to see the bluebells in bloom and she loved it, dd promised to take her shopping once a month which has been great.:D0

Hopefully we will do it again next year. i would certainly like to as it has really helped this year although I probably could have done better if I am completely honest. I haven't been doing daily clicks or saving all the cheques I've received so must do better!
You're doing brilliant if you're already sorted for this year - any tips and advice?0 -
Well things have gone very quiet for me of late. Piggypoints seem to have disappeared so no more vouchers, in fact I'm not even close to another one.
Definately hope to do this same challenge next year as I have around half my presents so even if I didn't get anymore from this challenge (which I hope I will) I will have so much better than previous years.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
