I've found nowt in the sales for Xmas 2008 esp in Next. I think I was too late in looking. .
I thought all the sales were pretty rubbish this year. Got the odd gift set in Next and a few things at Boots but that's about it. Not impressed by a lot of places - the reductions weren't much different to before Christmas promotions. I've decided pretty much to concentrate on saving up money and vouchers and looking for what I want before Christmas.
Finally Toluna has credited a survey I needed to get over 60,000 points and my MutualPoints balance has staggered over the redemption limit too. Have ordered a £12 HMV voucher and a £20 cheque - will add them to my signature when I actually receive them.0 -
well done choccie! 75% sale should be online tomorrow according to the boots thread - agreed the sales have been carp this year. Haven't even got my wrapping paper in yet!

hi everyone sorry not updated in ages, computer broken... again.
been off work with pulled muscle in my back, so had plenty of time to devise a nice little plan for my cmas stash etc for next year.
also done a bit of re-gifting planning aswell- stuff that is nice but i woulod not use in a million years. not to be ungrateful. felt a bit funny about re gifting once upon a time, but we hardly ever see dh's parents/brother/sister so i dont mind re gifting for them. that sounds so harsh doesnt it...
anyhow, if i dont come on for a while please dont think im being rude. lack of computerage. (also been inventing new words while been off sick...)

Had £25 cash credited from PureProfile today (finally) so using that and £12 vouchers to "pay myself back" for spends I've made so far.
Also got quite a few reduced toys in Additions sale so spent a little bit more and now need to earn the money back for that to repay myself, if that makes sense?! (Or i could use the £20 MutualPOints cheque when it arrives)
Also added £11.40 to my Boots advantage card total so updated signature to reflect that.
Still have several sites that are scarily close to payout - Come on Valued Opinions, update your pending credits!!!
Hope everyone else is doing well?0 -
Redeemed £2 in points from Lightspeed, jsut waiting for it to come through then I can add it to my total.
Will bring me up yo £33.45, still not a lot but better than nothing.

Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! I finally reached £50 on YouGov!!!! :j:j:j
Doing the Christmas challenge as part of my own 'make as much extra income this year as poss' challenge, so far between various things my total is £279.97 (this does include some vouchers I got as Christmas presents this, er, last year). My plan is to put some money/ vouchers aside during the year so that it's covered when I get to December, as I'm useless at buying things throughout the year to put away. Decided I'm going to make my own cards this year, so spent the other night cutting out useful bits from last year's cards (pics of Christmas trees, snowmen etc) to use for that.
Good to see everyone else doing well :T xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Blimey, dunno, couple of years I think! Mind you I didn't used to respond to every survey invitation I got, do now of course!! Have friends who've had much more from them so I think it depends on your profile how many surveys you get.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
