Thanks for the heads up Tatty Cath - I had no idea that Argos cards had a date on them  I've just got some and hope they are going to be ok until xmas.

Just wanted to let you all know that Leisure vouchers from pigsback can now be used in HMV and Waterstones. I'm thrilled as HMV is where I spend a fortune at Christmas and occasionally buy some stuff in Waterstones. :D

Hi. A far as I am aware normal argos vouchers have a 3 yr life, however, just before christmas I bought some christmas presents from argos and because I spent over £100 I received a £10 promotional voucher. Because it was a promotion it is only valid untio February of this year. I hope this clarifies it and helps.

Just keep doing the surveys really. Mine would be well past 60,000 (Have been on 56,000 for ages!!) if they would just credit the points a bit faster!!
  • So far have £20 in christmas club, £3.75 Boots points, £10 meat voucher and sealed tin half full. Never been so organised early January. We bought all childrens christmas cards at half price as these work out very expensive also bought three boxes of nice cards for the rest. Four rolls of wrapping paper also in box, decided to put in my diary for December 1st a reminder that I have these cards as I usually forget and buy more.
  • Another £9.12 to day - Refund from Amazon because things I bought for CHristmas have been reduced. -

Sigh..still short on all my sites of collecting any vouchers. Will go check my e-mails for any click-thu deals!

I've actually bought lots of things for Christmas 2008 - wrapped them up and hidden them. Just need to make the 'money' back now to pay myself!

Hi there! I've had to alter my totals at the moment as any cash I can make will be going towards my debts.

    £10 Schuh Giftcard
    £25 HMV Giftcard
    £10 Next Giftcard
    £10.25 Pigsback
    £9.49 Boots Advantage Card
    29555 points Toluna

    £64.74 Approx total

I'm thinking of redeeming some of my Pigsback points on Leisure vouchers. I know you can use them in Waterstones now and wondering if I can use them to get National Book tokens.

I'm also reviewing how much approx I've spent for Xmas 2007 (still need to buy one outstanding present) and the total is estimated at approx £157 for 14 presents (totals varied on each present). RRP in total is £267, hence saving £110. This should guide me for Xmas 2008.

I've got several toiletry type presents to pass on too, but I may be giving these away as birthday presents as well- this is a possible option in terms of saving money for the challenge.

I've found nowt in the sales for Xmas 2008 esp in Next. I think I was too late in looking. Any ideas on what I can do with the Schuh giftcard in terms of Xmas gifts and apart from spend it on myself.

Keep up the good work folks!
