No slowly fading your not silly - I know how you feel. I mostly lurk because I always see people doing far better and being MUCH more organised so I normally just sit in my corner and sulk :o

You look very organised to me!

I do the opposite of lurking because if I say i will do it on here then I feel I have to. If I just promise myself I will do something I don't. Mad but true!

OH proved worth his weight in gold today when he brought home a load of bath gift sets that had been abandoned at work (They sometimes get loads that have the cartons damaged or are refused and the leftover goods are left for the drivers to take home). Not exactly sure who will get them but i'm sure will make good use of them or use in hampers.

Talking of which we were given back the baskets of two out of the three hampers we made this year, one from OH's Grandma who "has nothing to put in it" and one from my Mam who thought I "might like it to make her another hamper next year". (Their words!!). Saves us buying more baskets I suppose!

I got my first voucher since Christmas today. It was an M&S gift voucher for £5 for completing a questionnaire (I can't remember filling it in so must have been ages ago). I've still got about £35 boots vouchers from Pigsback which I'll use in the 75% sale for pressies for next Christmas - if there's anything worth buying that is. I've also got about £20 earned through Quidco.

    Can I tag along please?

I saw this thread weeks ago and thought 'I'm going to do that' and I actually read it all properly today and thought it'd be rude not to post!

I've just had a £44 payment from Quidco and I have about £165 tracked/validated which will all go towards Xmas 08. I'm also putting my credit card cashback to this. I've just had about £36 so have transferred that to the account specifically for Xmas 08 savings (I chuck everything on the credit card but pay it off in full every month).

I have a £10 boots voucher from pigsback and about 400 piggy points towards the next one. I don't do very well with pigsback but have had nearly £600 in total since April 07 from Quidco so prefer to concentrate on that.

I have about £7ish with lightspeed and I think I'm about halfway to a voucher with Toluna. I have ipoints and other stuff but really need to get organised and see where I am with them all. I think I've registered for quite a few but done nothing with them as yet.

I'll also be selling on ebay but my eldest DD and I have agreed that we will be getting 'a wii for free' by selling crap from around the house. Once that is bought, the rest of ebay sales will be going towards Xmas.

I've bought a couple of presents from the Body Shop in the sale and a couple of rolls of wrapping paper but so I don't confuse myself (easily done... :o ) I'm just going to make a note of what I spent and 'pay myself back' for them at the end to try and see exactly what I spend (it kind of ran away from me this year).

I'm not going to count any money I put in pots or save in the supermarket as I will get much more satisfaction knowing it's all been 'free' and that I haven't put anything to it (other than my time and getting cashback for things I was going to buy anyway) if you  see what I mean. I will also start doing lots of competitions! :T

Wow, sorry for the waffle. Am quite excited about this challenge. I will do a signature once I've totted everything up. Everyone else seems to be really organised :o

Hi, will get organized and start posting how I'm doing, I will be using pigsback, nectar points, boots and asda. Any thing from cashback will have to go towards debts, but I am also doing the sealed pot challenge and will use this towards christmas.

Got all excited when piggy points took me to the next voucher level, but then disappointed to see that all the vouchers I want are out of stock!!

Oh well, at least the points are there - so another £10 for the challenge successfully taken care of :j
