I would love to make next Christmas absolutely free and pay for it just from rewards etc but I have my change tin and my idea is to keep saving in that and if I see bargains throughout the year I will buy out of that, which I guess is the same as putting a couple of quid away each week in saving stamps or what ever.
As hypno says we all have our own rules and the great thing is that we are all trying to do something.

I totally agree pip. I also do pigsback (clicks for points) just started quidco too. Last christmas I managed to save £105 towards december groceries and this year I have £15 for that already, so I am hoping to have money for gifts as well this year. I do the grocery challenge and when I am underbudget I am hoping I can legitimately use the surplus amounts for my christmas challenge. This christmas just gone we spent a ridiculous amount of money on the kids and christmas in general really, so christmas 2008 is going to be very different. I am selling stuff on ebay too-just stuff I no longer need or want, but every little helps

:wall: wow that must be really annoying.
im not registered with them so i cant check if its a general thing or if its just your loggin. sorry redsquirrel

thought id update u all again, i have ordered £60 of park high street gift vouchers from Park. Had to make a minimum payment of £10 to start with, so only got £50 to pay now over 45 weeks or so. Maybe a bit less by the time I start making my payments.
thought it would be a little bit extra for pressies, it works out at something daft like £1.11 a week. so not an amount that ill miss.
trying really hard this year to be more organised! having £15/mth s/o to my mum each month, £1/wk going in a little pot, £2/wk saver stamps and now £1.11 a week for park. is anyone else saving money regularly like this??

    xx nog xx
I saved up for parks vouchers this year, and spent some of them in boots, at the back of the booklet there was a points voucher for an extra 500 points if i spent over a certain amount as well and it was triple points day. I think i made over £30 in one transaction, so a pretty decent day in all. Good presents and points to add to next years total

Hi I have ordered £400 worth of vouchers from park its a lovely agency. I only order for myself I dont do the agency bit as it to much stress. Half is for me and the other is for my mum going to take her to southampton for xmas shopping and surprise her with the vouchers. I am still doing Quidco and pigs back is getting there. and still doing my online surveys.

Still haven't got around to totting everything up. How rubbish am I? :o

Am doing well with Quidco but mainly because I keep spending money :o:o

Thanks for the heads up re Amazon whoever it was :T . I've bought quite a bit on there lately and have only just started going thru ipoints but I'll try and register for cashback (or whatever it was, will read back at some point).

Haven't ebayed anything yet but have thought about it and collected loads of packaging materials, so that's a start, huh?

Haven't done a survey since before Christmas either so will give myself a slap and get on with it. Tomorrow

Promised myself I'd be in bed by 10.30pm tonight so I'd better go as I'm a bit late...

Cheers Pippo! Now I have to go and look at the Avon site!

nothing to update today, apart from ive started making my own bread, so every day when i would normally have spent £1.20 on a loaf, im saving the money in a little pot. (we go through a loaf a day easily). so im saving this money seperate as it would normally be "gone". :)
