That’s annoying about the zoom meeting Bubbs - I’d be fed up too. Why not put it on the face ache page as well as text so everyone gets the message grrr.
    3k run this morning.
    Food today:
B - overnight oats (HEB), FF vanilla yog (1), cherries
L - tuna, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions (S)
D - doing sausages, risotto and green beans for the family. I’ll skip the sausages. The risotto is from Aldi so some syns there.
    Snacks - banana, apple.
    Have a good day all.

GTQ did you make the sloppy joes yourself?  There's a syn free version of the Slimmingeats website!  It's not something I've every had but then I don't like sloppy food at all!

It was their version I made, not a lover of liquidy foods, so reduce down as much as I can before I transfer to the peppers.

That's part of the reason I've never gone to group bubbs, people just wind me up too much sometimes  :D

Not much really to report here, just trying to keep to plan and keeping the water levels up to help with the fluid retention.  Managed 2 litres of water yesterday plus 3 mugs of mint tea and a decaff coffee so hoping that its all helping.

B - Porridge (HEB oats, 1/2 HEA unsweetened almond milk) strawberries, blueberries, Choc pot (1 syn)
L - Salad (mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, peppers, carrot, boiled eggs, pickles), salad cream (2 syns)
D - Paella (rice, LO roast chicken, prawns, peppers, peas), salad

If I feel like a snack then I have some mini bags of popcorn (3.5 syns), but I've found that my appetite is slowing down with the warmer weather so 3 decent meals is good enough for me.

GTQ glad it was the syn free version and not one with loads of syns!  I've never bothered with the sloppy joes because of the amount of liquid.

Stayed under the 12 syns yesterday so I'm happy with that.

    Today's plan:

B - baked oats - oats; yoghurt; sweetener; egg; mixed frozen fruit; frozen cherries - HEB; P; S; F
L - cheese salad - cheese; mixed leaves; cucumber; tomatoes; peppers; pickled beetroot; pickled onions - HEA; S
    D - corned beef hash - corned beef; potatoes, onions, beans - S; F; 3

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - porridge oats
    Syns - corned beef 3

I'm another that doesn't like sloppy food. That's one of the biggest criticisms of SW recipes that they have too much liquid.

Not sure which Aldi risotto you're having coxy. Some are as little as 5 syns for a 200g pouch which, if shared wouldn't be too bad although 100g is a very small portion. Others, like some of the chilled ones.  are very high in syns.

Sorry if I sound like a  'Speed Cop' but you really should be having more Speed each day. Yesterday was lowish as you just had the veg with your JP and an apple. Today's better with the salad for lunch, green beans and an apple. Of course it could be a huge portion of beans, in which case ignore me!
Sometimes people lose a bit on SW just because they are eating less and healthier than they were before but the plan works best if you eat, at least, a third of all your food as Speed fruit or veg. I tend to balance it across the day by having little or none at breakfast and at least half for my other meals.

I've had my SW breakfast (scrambled eggs) but expect to be off plan for the rest of the day. I have syns saved so I don't think it'll do too much damage.

Definitely agree with you about this, I never use the amount of liquid they state in their recipes, I start with 1/3 and work up, it is much easier than trying to reduce.

Well done bubbs, you were obviously doing something right even if it didn't feel as though you were in the zone!  Where abouts within target range are you?  With that loss I would have thought you were around mid range so you're doing OK.

Still looking like it's a long way off before we can get back to groups.  But I've decided I've been managing with just the thread and the group Facebook so thinking I probably won't be going back every week, perhaps once a month or so.
