Should be quite thick but will thicken a bit on cooling.  I definitely boil for longer than the recipe says though.

Didn't go for a walk after all as opened a bottle of wine about 3pm!  Will definitely have a walk tomorrow.

We've just enjoyed KFC too but I do mine with the chicken breast strips from Aldi so they're more like goujons. I must try thighs sometime as the meat is more tasty. 😋

I always use thighs when I do the KFC.  They are definitely more tasty.

I've never tried doing the onion chutney in the SC bubbs.  I always do them in a pan and just cook them for about an hour and half (think the recipe says an hour but I've never found that's long enough!).

I've been enjoying wine Syns too maman.

Morning all, not so nice this morning.  Very cloudy and grey but supposed to be brightening up later.  I hope so as I've got a machine load of washing in at the moment and then I'll have the bed to do so that will be another 2 loads but that should be it for a few days!

    Todays plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - cheese on toast - HEA; HEB + 2; P; F
    D - burgers, chips, beans, onions, mushrooms - F; S; 1

    HEA1 - milk in drinks
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - 2 large WM bread (80g)
Syns - 20g extra bread 2; butchers low fat sausages 2; butchers low fat burgers 1

Will be trying to keep low syn to save some Syns to have some alcohol tomorrow, but will stick with spirits!

My last lot was very vinegary bubbs  but this time it tastes OK.  What vinegar did you use?  I found I needed to boil it very hard at the end to get rid of some of the vinegar.  I think next time I'll use a bit less vinegar.

    Afternoon all.
Well, alternate speed days seem to have done little as far as weight loss goes - I've lost a bit but no more than I do on the normal plan, my usual 1.5 lb! I'll give it another week and see if it tells next week. If not, I'll abandon it. Like you Maman I have speed meals quite often, especially at lunchtime.
Bubbs your food looks nice as ever! I haven't made KFC for an age so that'll be on the menu this week.
Shops locally seem quite well stocked now and I don't mind the queueing to get in, though it's all forgotten as soon as people are in the store. I try to keep my distance but others don't bother, usually the masked and gloved brigade. We are going through mountains of fruit and veg now there are 3 of us at home, I must try and buy more when I shop to keep up.
2nd lockdown birthday tomorrow (DD2), DD1s was last week. We'll trim the garden up and sit outside - thank goodness for this weather!
    Have a good weekend everyone.
