Thanks for the welcome Denise, Yes the fruit is synned , but the recipe is for blueberries really and they are tiny, Its only minimal syns and i dont know how id syn it , but i do usually add a couple of syns for them , They make 6-7 cakes, and yes they are made with oats ,xYour little cakes which you say are HEB also have Syns in them for the cooked fruit. I'm assuming they're made with oats which will be your HEB. You can have cooked fruit as HEB but in much larger quantities than you have used!

Good to have you along moll. You've used minimal cooked fruit so I wouldn't worry about too many syns. I'm not sure I could risk a large muffin, I'd want to eat too much at one sitting.
That reminds me that I haven't made any mini crustless quiches for a few weeks. A muffin tin of those had become a regular thing when I had the oven on but I stopped when eggs were scarce. I like those because they're free so I don't feel guilty snacking on them. I'll do some more at the weekend.
Hope you enjoyed your bacon bubbs. I expect it tasted even better at the price you got it.
I seem to have got through almost everything we've bought this week. The fridge was looking quite empty so I washed it all out.Hopefully there will be good stock when I go to Aldi tomorrow so I can replace everything.
Todays EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (S,F), beetroot (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S) with brown rice (F) and cottage cheese (P)
Syns- 0

Hi everyone.
Sorry for going AWOL several threads ago but I'm back, with my tail firmly between my legs!
I think I have slowly and steadily gained since this time last year, and the lockdown hasn't helped matters. ( rediscovering baking, buying 'treats' allegedly for the rest of the family all at home and eating them myself) It was only when I attempted to put on some summer weight trousers in this glorious weather that it really hit home. I worked so hard to get to target that I was in danger of throwing it all away (and most of my clothes!)
Anyway, I'm back on the horse as of this week. I'm trying a no carb day every alternate day just in the hope that it will give me a bit of a kick start - we'll see on Friday!
Hope everyone's coping with our new, weird world.4 -
Welcome back esmy. It's really hard at the moment but I'm trying to stick to plan as best I can. I'm pretty sure that I'm at top end of target as the waistband on my trousers are definitely feeling a bit tighter! Will find out tomorrow morning when I weigh.
When you say no carb days do you mean SP? I've tried them a few times but I really miss the carbs so don't bother anymore, although I have the occasional SP meal just not whole days.
Good luck with getting a loss this week.

Morning all, another lovely day so have got a load of washing in the machine and will hang out before I go to Lidl to try and get an ice cream maker! Also need to buy some more yoghurt and porridge. I tried the overnight weetabix bubbs but can't say I'm a fan - certainly won't be doing it again - I'll stick to porridge!
I weighed this morning and have maintained! I am pleased with that as expecting a gain having had too many Syns this week! This means I'm still lb under top end of target!
Today is going to be a Green day:
B - overnight weetabix - weetabix, fat free greek yoghurt, mixed frozen fruit - HEB1; P; S
L - spicy carrot soup (from freezer); slice bread - S; F; HEB2
D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - S; F; 2
HEA - milk
HEB1 - weetabix
HEB2 - slice bread
Syns - herb & garlic soft cheese 2

Good to see you posting esmy.
I don't think many of us will be buying new summer clothes this year so it's important to fit into the ones we've got. Of course, if they get too baggy because we're losing so much then there's always online shopping!
It's 6 weeks today since DH and I last ate out for my birthday. Since then I've been fully in control of our food. I'm probably a bit over on syns some weeks bit mainly I'm on plan. It was good to receive a SW magazine through the post this morning. Quite a sensible marketing move really. I think many of us are keeping a mental 'blacklist' of which companies behaved well during the pandemic and which didn't. I think many holiday companies will be on the list.
Today it's meal plan and Aldi shopping day. The stock was poor last week so I'm hoping for better today. I think we'll have Bolognese from the freezer for dinner but will post menu later after I've shopped.
