Looks delicious as usual bubbs. I'd miss my roast though, rarely go a Sunday without it. Just about to put the veg on. 😋0

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I just found that I lost weight better when restricting carbs. However, I have really missed carbs, so will allow myself some more now.
I do have a syn question, if no one minds? I have a few packs of frozen spuds they are from Aldi and are by Four Seasons. Are these free or synned? My kids love them, but if they are free then I might have a few myself.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.1 -
If they're frozen jacket potatoes from Aldi then they're just 2 syns each redmel.🤔😁2

Right, plan for tomorrow. I need a good day because I'm at my usual quitting point (usually given up by now actually!).
Breakky: chocolate weetabix (HEB) with milk (1 HEA) and a banana
Lunch: Leftover bacon and peppers pasta (3 syns) with salad
Dinner: Lubia polo, a Persian dish which is basically rice, green beans and mince (free)
Snacks will be lots of fruit, bbq chicken (free) and probably a hifi bar or two.0 -
Looks good YCM. Make sure you get plenty of Speed in. Perhaps snack on cherry tomatoes along with the chicken? 🤔
What's synfyul in your lunch? Although you seem to have plenty to spare except for the HiFis at 3 syns each.
When's your WI day? 🙂1 -
YCM Is your mince 5% fat one? If not it's synned at 2 Syns for 10-12%; 5 syns for 15-18% and a whopping 7 syns for 20-25% each per 100g.
Also make sure you have plenty of Speed foods, I always try to have more veg and fruit because although most of it is Speed it still contains quite a lot of natural sugars.
Have to take my car to the garage for repair today, something blew down from our roof in the wind last week and the corner of it went through the bonnet so now has quite a big hole in it! Not sure how much it's going to cost but the guy probably about £300, ouch! I don't have enough saved in my Car account so some of it is going to have to come from my Emergency Fund savings but at least I've got the money available and haven't got to go into debt to pay for it!
Finished on 6 Syns yesterday as only had a couple of pastis (Pernod) and water. Didn't have any more as knew I would be driving this morning.
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - porridge HEB; fat free Greek yoghurt P; mixed frozen fruit S; sweetener F (I usually put skinny syrup in as well but have run out and nowhere that sells it is open at the moment)
L - cheese salad - HEA; salad - leaves from the garden, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, chopped celery, spring onions S; dressed with, probably balsamic or walnut vinegar (not decided which yet); picked beetroot; pickled onions
D - BBQ - small steak; small pork steak; jacket potato; more salad - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - none planned but will have some as only used 26 in total over the weekend!!! Think that must be a first. Might even to treat myself to some dark chocolate!

Are there any low syn sausages at Aldi, or will I need to go to one of the larger supermarkets? I've decided to start doing some batch cooking and will start today with a big pot of sausage casserole.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Used a stir in pasta pot for lunch, 7 syns but split the meal into 3. Bit wasteful syns wise but I like the taste and I'm not a good cook at all.
Cherry tomatoes is a great idea alongside the chicken, I really like them so it's a good idea, thanks!
joedenise I've got the 5% fat one from Aldi.1 -
Good luck today everyone. Lets stick to the plan!1
