Don't blame you maman!  I also find it easier too.

Weather is horrible this morning.  We were supposed to be playing golf but unfortunately it's carrying bags only and I can't manage that so we cancelled.  Trying to rebook for Friday at the moment.

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
    L - cheese on toast - HEA2; P; F; 7
    D - beef casserole, mash, cabbage - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - oats
Syns - bread 7; couple of rum and ginger beer 5

Shame you found the burrito thing not worth the effort denise. I looked online at a chicken and pork one and they did seem hard work.  With the pork  one you had to slow cook the pork first and shred it. Not so bad if you had leftovers I suppose.

I made beef stew last night so that's for my lunch today  with 2 portions for the freezer. This is the thin broth with veg rather than a casserole/stew which I'd thicken. I bought a large bag of new potatoes this week  so have added some. Left overnight, they marinate in the broth. I'm going to make a chicken casserole later and add new potatoes with that too.  We've had mash a bit more frequently lately and I'd certainly make that rather than plain boiled  'old' potatoes, very boring! 😉

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
    L- Beef Stew (P,F,S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

    I've had a very productive afternoon. 😊

I wanted to get ahead of myself as we're out tomorrow so will be pushed for time. I made tomorrow's casserole so will just have to do veg while it's reheating.  I made 2 lots of oven chips as I had plenty of potatoes. There's a huge chilli bubbling away in SC using the YS mince from yesterday.  As well as that I prepped a jar of the coating for KFC. I like to do 2-3 weeks worth at a time because  I'm always in a hurry on a Friday and it suits me to use up a pack of potato at a time.

We're eating out on Saturday so next time I really need to prep anything will be Sunday. 😉

I like pickled red cabbage with LO casseroles or there's always pickled onions or beetroot!🤣

The other thing I do is to fry up some bits from the fridge like mushrooms, spring onions, tomato or whatever I have in  and then put the cottage pie in the pan with it to heat up. Then serve it up and add beetroot! 😁

Definitely use lots of pickles with LOs.  I've always got beetroot, cornichons, onions, chutney and green tomato chutney in the cupboard.
