Morning all.
Got a text from my consultant this morning telling me I needed to send her my weight as it's been 8 weeks. It was up 0.5lb from when I last weighed at group but down 0.5 from weighing at home last week!
Supposed to be playing golf this morning but no idea if it's going to happen, just waiting for an update on the website to see whether it's carry only and if it is we won't be going, although I might send DH to play on his own because he can manage it!
Which shop is the £10 off £40 shop bubbs? Is that Aldi? If it is then no good to me won't use my local one because no social distancing and assistants on tills calling people over to load their shopping before the person in front has moved forward - gets on my nerves!
Got my mammogram this morning as well, will be going to golf immediately after if we can!
Today's plan:
B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit - HEB; P; S; F
L - none if we play golf; carrot & lentil soup if we don't - P; S; F
D - Baked pesto cod, roast potatoes, roasted veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - none planned

Where does that leave you with target range denise? 🤔
I went to group this morning and I've STS for the past 5 weeks so I'm still 1lb over. I was pleasantly surprised but it probably means that Monday's synning hasn't caught up with me yet. I'm not going to worry and I fully intend to enjoy my meal out on Saturday too. I'll lose it eventually. The consultant was pleased that she'd covered the hall rent this morning. She seemed to be selling lots of Countdowns as they are at current prices where although fees go up in January. She did her best to run a fairly normal Image Therapy focusing on how many syns there are in buffet food. Apparently Pringles are 1 syn each!! She told us that the group will stay open now even if we went into Tier 3 which is unlikely as numbers are falling here (unless Christmas wrecks it) and weren't over high to start with compared with my brother who has the worst rates in the country in South Wales.
If you enjoy Freddos and you're within syns then don't worry klew. That's what syns are for. 😉
Not seen ruby this week. I do hope she's not unwell.🤔
I'll use the Lidl's voucher. I saw it in my morning paper. I can probably do most of this week's shop there but there's a number of store cupboard things they sell there that I could top up with, particularly cornichons! 😋
Good idea to have carrots bubbs. I quite like tinned ones, especially the baby ones. I think they have a taste of their own compared with fresh, a bit like different sorts of peas.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried potato (F) veg and pickles (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,S,F) with cauli, broccoli and cabbage (S)
Syns- cornflour 1

Change of plan! DH decided to cook his bread first thing this morning even though we were late getting up (didn't get up until nearly 8.30!). So by the time I'd got the baked oats in the oven they were only just cooked when we needed to leave to go for my mammogram so I ended up just leaving them sitting on the cooker! So the plan changed to:
B - mixed fruits; quark - P; S
L - baked oats - HEB; F
D - baked pesto cod; roast potatoes; roasted veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned but can always have some crackers & cheese or some chocolate if I fancy something later
Thanks bubbs. Will buy a paper tomorrow as I should be able to use it next week when I go shopping. I can always top up the pantry with things like pickles of various sorts, tinned toms, tinned beans etc etc plus of course more fruit and veg like cabbage & carrots which keep quite a long time.
maman I'm lb from top end of target but really would like to see a decent loss this week just to give me a bit of leeway for Christmas so I'll keep trying to stick to plan as much as possible although haven't got any meals out of course because of being in Tier 3 in the worst area of the country.
It's lovely and quiet at the moment as I told DH to go to golf on his own. Will have to go and pick him up later as we've only got the one car now so I needed it to come home after I'd popped into Mr Ts on the way back (forgot to buy some bacon medallions for hunters chicken tomorrow night so will save going out tomorrow as well!).

Denise, sorry my reply was short earlier, i had just broke my glasses😫 and couldn't see properly 😂I usually go Aldi but for a saving of a tenner will go Lidl this week
Well done on your loss
Maman, that's not bad over 5 weeks
I have been busy today, cleaned windows and frames in side, hands and knees cleaning the kitchen floor!
This was my lunch and i enjoyed it, even ate it out the tub 🤣

That looks great bubbs. Just like an airline meal but I'm sure it's 100% more tasty. 😋
I'm going to do my weekly shop in Lidl too. We've got a lovely new shop opened very close. I avoided the previous one because it's on a horrible roundabout that makes it so difficult to get out of the car park. As well as foods, I like their dishwasher stuff and washing liquid so won't have a problem using the vouchers.
That's a great position to be in for the next 8 weeks denise. You've got time to lose a bit, enjoy Christmas and then lose again before next WI. Result! Well done you. 😉1 -
Thank you both. I like the Lidl dishwasher stuff and washing liquid. I use their biological washing liquid in the motorhome too in the loo - it kills all the smells and breaks the solids down!
I had hoped to go another week before WI but I'd miscalculated! but you're right I've still got a couple of weeks to lose a bit more. Have to say I don't eat much off plan at Christmas but it's definitely the alcohol (but what's new there, LOL!).
