    Morning all,

Controversially I’m not  a big fan of Brussel sprouts or frozen veg but handy to have it in the freezer, however, Morrison’s do a frozen bag of brussels with bacon and it is really nice! Shocked I enjoyed it. So there’s another bag in there.

1.25 pounds off this week, the app doesn’t measure quarters though unfortunately.

My chilli has lots of speed in it and that’s what I am having for lunch, onion, carrot, celery, mushrooms, red pepper and baby plum tomatoes. I have a big bowl rather than soup and it is filling and warming which is what we need as wet and miserable here again. Was a bit slippery this morning so skipped the dog walk as I still cant get my boots on as stitches don’t come out for another week. Cant wait till I can up my walking again

Tea last night was lovely, pork steak, stuffing balls, mini chipolatas, roast potatoes, peas and carrots. Mmmmm

Morning all.  Not very nice here either, very cold and no wind but have taken a chance and hung the first machine load of washing out, another one in the machine now.  Also need to wash and reproof our golf trousers as they are absolutely filthy after yesterday's golf and still haven't dried out so can't just brush the mud off!

Plenty of LO chicken from yesterday so that features in meals today!  The plan is:

    B - eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - chicken broth (currently cooking the dried soup and broth mix which I soaked overnight) - P; S; F
D - chicken, chips, baked beans, HM onion chutney; HM green tomato chutney; pickled onions - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but if I fancy something this evening have plenty to spare; perhaps something like Ryvita & cheese using 2nd HEA.

Went to see my lady whose Mum died of covid, it attacked her immune system and her salt levels were to high and they couldn't get them down :(

I had a picky lunch, no breakfast! I am making fish and chips for tea 😋and going to poach some pears for pudding with my ice cream (hexb)

Wished I hadn't bothered with hanging the washing out - the mist started coming in about 1pm so went and go it in and it was just as wet as when I hung it out!  Put some on the airer and the rest in the tumble dryer!  Still at least it's all done now apart from the bedding but suspect that will end up in the dryer too when I do it as the forecast isn't much better for the rest of the week, dry for a couple of days with slight possibility of rain and then lots of rain from Thursday onwards.

I always forget that you can have cooked fruit as HEB, apart from baked stuffed apple but not had that for a long time as usually need bread or porridge for meals.

Didn't realise that cooked fruit was more of a problem them raw fruit.  Is that because of the way cooking changes the sugars?
