Wet and horrible here today too.  No plans to step outside the door today as absolutely no need.

Nothing wrong with boring food klew as long as it fills you up and is hopefully on plan!

Ended yesterday on 13 syns having managed 7 Speed foods so I'm OK with that.  Let's see what today brings - I'm already on plan for 7 Speed foods again but not sure how many syns but shouldn't be too many.

    Today's plan:

    B - beans & tomatoes on 1 toast - 0.5 HEB; S; F; marmalade on 1 toast - 0.5 HEB; 3
    L - leek and potato soup - S; F
D - roast chicken in gravy, roast potatoes, cabbage, Brussels, peas - P; S; F (not synning gravy as I always scrape off most of it as not keen!)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 2; marmalade 1
Speed: tomatoes, leeks, onions, garlic, cabbage, brussels. easy peeler

Morning all.  Weather is a bit grey here but no rain today luckily.  Still really cold though - have about 3 layers on and sitting at the desk with a blanket over my legs

Didn't feel too hungry this morning so just had a clementine for breakfast and will have the rest of my mushroom soup for lunch.  Have no idea what's for dinner tonight as DH is going to cook apparently.  Will wait and see!  Hope you're all staying safe.

Some great bargains there bubbs;  asparagus @ 5p, wow!  I'd have bought a few at that price, absolutely love it but it's usually so expensive!  I'd have also have bought the carrots; not so bothered about pears though.  Wish I had a Farmfoods near me but nearest one is about 50 miles away!

Won't be bothering going to Aldi though for this weeks S6; only things I'd buy would be satsumas and mushrooms.

I'm envious of the asparagus too bubbs that's a brilliant buy! Pears were the only thing I bought in Super6 as DH likes them on his muesli. They were just white mushrooms and I get through so many that I buy the large 'wonky' punnets instead and they're better value.

It's been a good day here, even had some pale sunshine. 😊

It's good to use up what's in klew, very mse,  although it can make for some odd meals. Well done for sticking to plan though. You could have ordered a take away. 😁 Hope your DH cooks something SW friendly ruby.😉

I've done well on the Speed today too denise. I know I'll have had plenty for the plan, plenty of variety and  different  colours. It won't have been a full portion of all of them but I don't think that's the most important thing. I had an almost identical lunch to yesterday as I wanted to finish up the box of sausages.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried egg (P), tomato and mushrooms (S), HEB toast , HEA1 ,ilk
    L- LM sausages (f), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, asparagus, mange tout, broccoli, garlic mushrooms with HEA2
    Syns- weekend wine🍷😀

I make that 9 Speed foods maman; well done, that's really good.  DH doesn't really like the LM sausages which is why he had fish fingers - I can't stand them so it's probably the only time we have something different!

It was even more than 9 because I made the mash for the bubble & squeak from BNS, carrot and potato plus the cauli, broccoli and cabbage stirred in. Then, instead of just having beetroot, I made a point of having some cornichons and pickled onions too. That's just lunch! Not sure if it's doing well or cheating!🤣
No fruit though as I'm not really a fan but will have some with breakfast tomorrow.

At least this challenge is getting us all at least talking about the amount of Speed we're having.  Have to admit I probably don't always have enough but feel like I'm at least trying to have a bit more - really want to get that loss this week after, I think, 4 weeks with STS!
